Theres a clip online showing a saltwater croc in Oz taking a pig-dog as the guys are hunting pig,but the silent way that gator just glides along and the flash of that red collar............. -
Theres a guy called Kevin Carr just completed a round the world run today,took him 2 years,he was interviewed earlier on the news,said the physical side of the run wasnt so bad once you got into the routine,said it was the mental wall he kept running into that was the tough part.Ranulph Feinnes is in the sahara desert at the moment,running 156 miles in 6 days in sizzling heat,he is 71 years old,I read an interview he once did,he is mentally focused.

Going to the philippines next week,not so much a holiday,got some pineapples to check up on,had 5 guys weeding the fields for the last 10 days,cost in labour is £3.50 a day per man

There used to be a guy on this site Clucky,havent see him on for a while,he had a hancock dog Tarn that used to take 70-100 fox a season over the 2 seasons I saw him work,he was exceptional.

My first ever dog,she had 2 owners before me when I bought her she was 6 months old,cost me £20,lurcherXlurcher I bought her with a spurious pedigree but back in exchange and mart days it was guesswork.Very greyhoundy,with a good turn of speed,her recall depended upon how deaf she was feeling on a particular day,her retrieve was half-hearted at best,and sometimes I wondered how her mind worked after reading in a Plummer book that boy and dog should be the ultimate hunting team,but to a 13 year old kid she was the world.She caught plenty of rabbits,wasnt bad with hare,ran alongside roe deer bar
