I used to know a dark skinned lad possibly mixed-race hence his nickname Coco (No PC back then) around about 1985,he was from Hartlepool or darlington who told me he lamped a black panther near Hartlepool somewhere.He wasn't an all edged netter of salmon was he mate ?.I think he was mate to be perfectly honest,but I think his preferred river was the tee's most people were into fish back then,except the likes of myself I know the fella you mean mate, still likes the odd trip out to the riverbank......glad to hear you never strayed from the straight and narrow.......   6. Newport guy drove round with it for 6 months before the DVLA cottoned on and pulled it.... A registration plate has been pulled by the DVLA as it looked like it spelled the word jihad. A Ford Fiesta with the plate JH11 HAD was spotted driving in Newport and reported to authorities. The DVLA said it "slipped through the net" and it had withdrawn it, sending a replacement plate to the owner. Must be 20 years since I was there but they had a preserved sailors arm complete with tattoos amongst other things I don't know if its still there nowadays mate,i do remember the owner did a spell in the hotel Babylon after the RSPCA or some wildlife organisation did a hatchet job on him.

  15. As far as I can tell the only real searching in this country is people like greyman doing it off their own back part time while sleuthing on other people's land . Theres a guy called Danny Nineham who is a british big cat "consultant" He pops up now and again,used to do roadshows and big cat exhibitions etc,he has been actively investigating since the early 1990's.
