I remember one homosexual in our village as kids,we didn't understand he was homosexual,we just thought he was strange,he actually died of HIV in the late 1980's after spending time working in London,like daffyd he was the only gay in the village,fast forward to 2017 bloody hell,loads of people I went to school with have mainly homosexual but one lesbian children,i think its either more prevalent or easier to be open nowadays?Back then it was a mining ship-building community tight knit and it must have been very tough to be open about ones sexuality if you were different.
