  1. Oh those Warning Points, don't worry about those only you can see yours no one else and you cant see others. They are there for when you wind up a mod or get told off for posting objectionable content etc. etc.... I had a feeling something had changed again on the forum software when my mails came in with HTML tags in them. I believe we have reverted to an earlier / later version of the forum software. Nothing to worry about at all bud! Tony
  2. I gather your talking about safety aspects of shooting? Like warning: Don't look down the muzzle of a rifle? Treat an unloaded gun as if its loaded, that sort of thing? Common sense. Tony
  3. Oh Steve, Just reread your post, the Tempest is non-scopable without extensive and very costly modification. If you do decide to have that kind of work done I know a bespoke gunsmith specialising in pistols Tony
  4. Yes you can buy long eye relief telescopic pistol sights I would advise that you stick to no more than one to two magnification though. Open sights on a pistol though is the way to go IMHO, once you've got the hang of it, it's more natural than a using a scope. Tony
  5. Not sure about the Rifle and Shotty laws, but it wouldn't suprise me though! British shooting laws are a bigger ass than my mothers and that takes a few postcodes for each cheek! Tony
  6. Spot on there young man Well almost! The adult has to be 21 or over, not as where normally an adult is classed as 18+. Otherwise Bang On Tony
  7. Forgot about this thread, cheers Wurz, My 19 has the trigger adjustment screw right behind the trigger, between the trigger blade and the screw that holds the ass end of the action into place. Tony
  8. If you want to stick with it for a while, open it up, degrease (if there is any inside) and relube that will sort out the twang for you. I'm just getting back into using my xs19 after a long time not using her, and she's performing pretty darn well. Tony
  9. The SR's are outta the stated price range Mike. The Hawke HD scopes are awsome Tony
  10. Fecking "A" I say Nice to have you back Gary Looks like we just can't keep away can we? Take care bud, Tony
  11. :clapper: spot on stealthy. I can't beleive their front keep returning to a place where they have inflicted so many wounds . Me saying these fella's are thick skinned is a understatement........ As well as thick in the brain I was born in the wrong time (or wrong country) I always wanted to be an executioner
  12. You mean you can't remember being 50
  13. Feck it :wallbash: :wallbash: My memory is that flippin bad I'd totally forgotten. I had planned on being there, more to give my two friends a hug than anything else, the demo would have been a bonus Tony
  14. Use on myself now and again. Once your used to the fairly rough trigger and its run in properley, they are fine budget rifles The newer versions are far improved from the earlier guns that gave the Chinese such a bad reputation You sure it was putting out 11.5? Chronoed mine the other day with Crosman Premier UltraMagnum got a pretty consistant 10.35 average with a 5fps variation. Then used AAF's and got a healthy 10.53 ft/lbs average with 7fps variation. Much more than is needed for normal range kills of all legal British vermin Tony
  15. Happy friend and a nice meal as a reward Maggies have a trait of trying to find out what happened to their fallen comrades and mates. More fool them Nice shooting Tony
  16. Only a couple Davy? Come on, it's Double's all day my man, One for you and one for Saint Paddy!!! Enjoy your day and shoot well tomorrow Happy Birthday Tony
  17. Your average compressor wouldnt be able to put enough pressure into it. Your average gun bottle takes around 2800 to 3200 psi. Tony
  18. I could indeed But it would be sooooo worth it
  19. No but, I could do the bride till she was bruised
  20. No, but it was probably about as much as I got when I put the pic up of the mess the .22 made
  21. Back on thread Those is deffo mice You should see what a .22 does to em when they destroyed the stuff in my shed Looked similar to the effect that a breezeblock through a mans chest would Shot a fair few of the lil buggers. My young cat often brings me a live mouse that I have to finish off before he'll eat it! Talk about being a pussy!
  22. Me thinks Our Lord Stealthy is getting too old for this lark Where's the write up Sir? on another note: My ex asked "What's that pile of clothes in front of the washing machine for"? When I realised she wasn't going to wash them for me I replied "Oh it's just a dead Jedi" Nice Shot Stealthy. Tony
