  3. Thats some sweet grouping for that distance bud Nice work on the meat as well Tony
  4. Great grouping Darryl You aint lost your touch at all
  5. Barry try this thread http://www.thehuntinglife.com/forums/topic/244657-help-uploading-pictures/page__pid__2578965#entry2578965 Tony
  6. Or resize the images in an image editing app such as photoshop and upload directly to your post. If you go down the route of Photobucket, make sure you make your images private otherwise they are on display to the world (as they are with tiny pic) and all it takes is one complaint and they wipe everything you upload!! (I speak from experiance) Tony
  7. The Chinese are comparable to the old Jap Crap in the motor industry To start with they were seriously crap now on the other hand the Chinese manufacturing is comming along in leaps and bounds My XS19 springer is certainly accurate enough to knock a mouses block off its shoulder. Heres a pic of my second bunny 30-35 yards (long before I routinely began taking pix). .22 with an SMK (chinese scope) 3-9x40 scope. The rifle is a copy of a Gamo Hunter which in turn is a copy of a HW (I forget which though). That said rifle has accounted for many, many bunnies with AAF
  8. I would second that Frank Chris, I was using the Hawke 4-12x50 last night, If I'd have thought you could have had a looksee through it before the rain started! Really are superb scopes for the money. Tony
  9. Really do wish I'd been there I've seen a lot of the pix elsewhere. Looks like a fantastic time was had by all As is always the case when you and Chaz get together and plan a meet See you in June. Tony
  10. Laser's have various uses in airgun hunting Ranging, fast target aquasition etc, but you need to Zero it before you use it, just like you would a scope. They can be knocked out of alignment Tony
  11. Nice one Pete, SP for doing the right thing The land owner didn't need to know until you had called the police, they were breaking the law by drinking underage outside. They were endangering their lives and that gave the police the power to deal with them If they had just been trespassing the police wouldn't have bothered as that is a civil offence unless the area was clearly surrounded by high fences and locked gates (some very old law about trespassing in a courtyard then comes into play,) or they were armed in some way then it's a criminal matter. I'm a little hard line and
  12. As far as filling goes, the sweetspot on my baby starts at 180bar. I used to fill to 190 but that only cost me pellets while I waited for her to settle Now I fill to 175 to 180 and dry fire once, then I know she's sweet. Pellets, AAF's FX and H&N-FTT. I have just been trialing Crosman Premier Ultra Magnums and my best one hole grouping now at 30 yards is down to 7mm (in .22 cal) so I am VERY HAPPY using these They are a little lighter than the AAF's and the FX, but the permormance is equally as good as, if not better than what I previously used. Tony
  13. Does the 'blurb' actually sound like it was written by an English person? Nope! There are both genuine and fakes on ebay, sometimes you will actually come across a genuine scope that has been sold as a 'slight second' because it didn't quite meet quality control like my MK4. It has a slight blemish in the optical coating, but that little blemish only proves a minor problem when shooting into the light (late sun set and early sun rise or towards street lights etc) More than worth the grand reduction in price Tony
  14. Even more reason to get it then, Property Protection/Prevention of damage to property, Have you seen what birds sh!te does to a vehicals paint job?
  15. Have a looksee on eBay, there are various mounts on there I originally linked to Seben themselves, but after reviewing their sit I couldn't find it Tony
  16. For the mount, the best one is the Seben Mount. Tony
  17. Awsome video The 1st bunny was a Superb demonstration as to what a well placed shot to the Cerabellum does. as compared to a shot in the Cerebrum as demonstrated by the ones that suddenly become gymnasts Both kinds of shots are killshots of course Tony
  18. SRT I remember this one a few years ago http://www.thehighroad.org/archive/index.php/t-413563.html Tony
  19. Mike is correct, they are prohibited under Federal Law Tony
  20. Nice going buddy and thats a nice piece of Realtree camo behind the rifle Tony
  21. Hyperthetically Mike..... Get your eyes off it; the fat bucker's in my f :censored:g croshair Realistically, chuck some hypothetical corn kernals out in your back garden so you can grow hypothetical corn mixed in with your realistic garden lawn Then just wait for the opportunity
  22. Must tell my mate about the adjustable reamers, he's always bitching about the blokes he meets cant touch the sides
  23. NOOOOOOooooooo they aint any good, They are FREAKING AWSOME Tony PS: I may be a tincy bit biased
  24. Nice going the pair of you I did wonder about the bunnies being able to see the flash of light from the metalwork, but that appears either not to be the case or it's the last thing they see Tony
