You know the one The one that's getting coverage in the rags each month But I was also refering to the H&DFTC (the one thats awkward to get to for me) Thinking of going to Cottingham range (expensive but will keep my eye in) Tony
-
Is that the Max limit shown on the gun guage? or is it the most you can get into the air cylinder without it getting very hard to put more in? Tony
-
Yup we do My club is not your average club, in fact its pretty special We mainly cater for air/co2 pistols, but there is a small number of rifle shooters and its growing over a thousand members world-wide now I used to use a 'traditional' airgun club, which was fantastic but awkward to get to They held comps as well, FT, HFT etc... Tony

Yes why? Reckon most airgunners are actually Tony

The pump is reading the pressure between the AC and the pump, the AC Guage is reading what is in the AC Tony

It's people like you that give the rest of us a bad name. Why not just apply for the permit?

Nice one Davy I was asked last week to give my thoughts on the S400 and 410, as well as the S200. Of course I have not had enough experiance of the 400 series so had very little info to offer the guy. I hope he sees this because its A1+ Tony

Not sure if you can get them from AA direct, but have a word with these guy's (brilliant customer services via phone) http://www.gunspares.co.uk/shopdisplayproducts.asp?id=24235&cat=S200 I know they don't show it on the diagram, but I believe they do sell the one piece stock Tony

Yep, Mine is a hybrid MKI, II and with the swimsuit stock III Tony

okay, What model camera do you have? Reason I ask is because there are some very good 'ready made' adaptors available. Such as the Deben mount that I have. (Suitable for every make with a standard tripod adaptor) and then there are some very simple home made devices that can be done with step up/down rings and a small bit of 'polypipe' and some epoxy resin & hardner Tony

Not really anything wrong with the Bikini on your girl really (gotta admit I dont like black though!) I had a bikini on my baby for years although the sharp edges made standing shots painfull due to it digging into my joint with a ganglian on the middle finger. Eventually I swapped it for a swimsuit stock (all in one) because it was round and the stocks owner had heard about my pain when shooting free hand. What is your budget for a stock? Tony

One to sit on top of your scope? or one that fastens to your scope? Tony

Pucky!! I often have to shoot under a very dark wild ordchard and I am laid in bright sunshine in the paddock at Mrs G's Sunlight can't get through the canopy in the summer, but % or so come out from the warrens under that orchard It's so dark under there not even weeds grow in the summer. Behind that is a fence that seperates the property from the cemetery. So I can just see the silhouttes of the bunnies against the little bit of light comming through from the cemetery. The red ret stands out wonderfully and allows me to place my crosshair or mildots where they are needed. If I were to us

I use mine in low light and when shooting into dark areas, it provides a good contrast. Some can be overly bright though. Tony

Hi Duncan, Sorry totally dissagree with that it will go through the brain and out the other side At PBR, its imprtant to transfere as much shock to the brain as possible to shut it down, therefore cocking only to the lower power is less likely to over penetrate (although its still possible) but because it's travelling slower, more kinetic enegy is transfered into the surrounding brain tissue and its that that shuts down the brain. The shot from the top of the head will have had further to go and so impart more shock energy to the system. The only shot that will both kill a bunny and pre -

Is your HW45 dual power? I've found that for close (ie point blank) a lower power pistol will do the job, not because it deforms better (pellet deformation at sub 12 is pretty much a myth!). I've used my HW45 (.22) to great effect at PBR I've also used a HW40 (about 2.3 ft/lbs) and I've used the odd umarex co2 pistol equally well. One thing to remember is a shot to the brain will kill it My guess is you were unprepared (as we all were at our first) by the amount of kicking the nervous system produces even with a fatal shot? I did the same, "feck its still kicking, feck I've wounded it, fe -

It's been persistantly precipitating all morning round here (aka Whazzing it down) all morning, then this aft, it was the fluffy fecking white stuff! coming down Stick to soft lead pellets, much cheaper buddy Amen to that and those stats are far better than I've had this year Archie Tony

Does anyone really give a rats arse who the company belongs to? I certainly don't and if I were doing a review of my baby or any of my other guns or the things attached to it, I really wouldnt care who runs the company Mary, just as you and Mike dont care who made your guns or other kit do you? The jist of this thread is that Si was given a piece of kit to test and state his review, he did this in his own words and using his own testing methods. He even shows us via the use of a video camera. A few people asked questions, Si instead of saying "yes" or "no" took the trouble and time ou -
