  1. Not just Surname Chris, 1st name as well I'm glad it all came off well for you However it will take a lot more than just one honest trade to bring the Graham Brothers standing to anything like respectable with the members of this community. It's a promissing start though Tony
  2. Give em chance! More and more Wild Boar are breeding in the UK Just like Rabbits, Foxes, Parakeets and Collerd Doves, they will become a pest But not for anything sub 12 though In fact I reckon a .308 will be the minimumn allowed in the UK for them. Tony
  3. Just got a tin of the Crosman Premier Ultra Magnum's Andy. Put them through my 19 along with AAF's and (dont laugh) Mil-Cals. Interesting results in the shot to shot variation AAF=7fps MilCal=15fps and the Prems only 5fps Rifle averaging 10.5ft/lbs Just hope they are going to group well in the springer, it's of out next week Tony
  4. Is that a yokel version of the S200?
  5. Sweet...... I'll get me coat TAXI......... Nice shooting But why put it down to just the gun I know plenty of shooters that couldn't do that even with that gun! Without the skilled shooter , the gun is next to useless I say 'next to useless' because it can be used for bodybuilding and as a club so not totally useless Tony
  6. http://www.gamousa.com/videoplayer.aspx?videoURL=http://gamoairguns.com/gamoairguns/videos/hog_hunt_22.flv
  7. As a reg myself (well I used to be) I wasn't trying to gang up Does anyone remember the springers used in the Gamo Raptor Pellets, vids? They were bringing down hogs with them. Both in .177 and .22 Tony
  8. Be careful if buying from ebay. I got a 12ft x 12ft piece from one seller, the image clearly showed a full camo net, when it arrived it was a good size net, with the odd bit of triangular camo tacked onto it. Tony
  9. Eyebrows aint on the target list, neither is the other head of hair Although that one could do with a day out at the spa!!!
  10. Very nice shot I don't reckon it was anything to do with the penatration of the pellet, more the transfere of the energy into the brain that killed it. Like Si said, it was a little one and the OP did say there was a much larger one with the group, undoutably the mother I'm not suprised she didn't hang around with the other little uns to protect. Tony
  11. Try another scope I did once have one day where I couldn't hit jack! (I really wasn't happy but he was pleased) seriously, my targets were 4 or 5 inch card targets and I couldn't hit them  where as the day before I could easily deliver a 5.52mm butt plug in a woodies ass! Eventually gave up, went home, cleaned barrel, checked scope, checked EVERY FECKING THING, Began a strip down then realised that it was a single nut on the stock that was loose! Tightened it up again and back to pellet on pellet! Fickle things our lil babies Tony
  12. Not a chance I've gone to Brasso now for conditioner
  13. Thanks for the IP addresses Mike That list has really helped me out Tony
  14. This is a very serious thread you know now chuck us a can over and a pack of crisps man!
  15. Oh hang on thats my bald patch!
  16. Mine will shave its pubes as smooth as Stealthy's bald patch
  17. 9 quid from the quid shop, lemmie guess you shop in Chelsea   The rifle is certainly capable of those shots, my baby in .22 has taken a bunny at 68 yards (my longest shot in ideal conditions). As said above, build up your confidance in 5 yard increments. To give you some idea of trajectory (if you know the power of your gun) download Chairgun Pro and play with it. It's pretty accurate but the best method is to calibrate your scope with your pellet and gun Again, Si (Zini) has done some very good tutorials on how to use CGP and how to calibrate your scope Tony
  18. Or if you really want to improve your fieldcraft, get on your belly and crawl within range My padock permissions are like that, virtually no cover and thats sometimes the only way to get near them It's just a pain getting home and the missus saying, you stink of horse sh!te. Also beware of tic's! Tony
  19. Don't forget you will also need the UNF thread adaptor
  20. How were you able to own the gun with out chronoing the ME? Are you in the UK Mainland or Ireland? Tony
  21. If you are getting 30 to 40 accurate shots then yes stay with it
  22. Oh I had to replace it because I shattered it by stepping on it
  23. I replaced my guage on my pump not long ago, didn't cost much around a tenner from http://www.airriflepump.com/ Once I put the new one on, it seemed to make it very hard to get to 185 Bar Just need to service it now, speaking of which I must order the kit! Tony
  24. The guage on the pump is measuring the pressure between the fill adaptor on the Air Cylinder and the pump. The pressure guage on the gun is measuring the pressure within the Air Cylinder of the gun. They should both be pretty similar though. I would go with the one on the pump (purely for safety reasons). Tony Hey Craig, I use a pump, luckily I dont have a guage on the gun, so I dont/cant get confused LOL
