Nice well done buddy I'm desperate to loose my Corvirginity Phantom
-
Cool, I'll look forward to that Phantom

No worries buddy Where you been lately? I've not seen any of your work for a while Phantom

Hey Stealthy, I did get it in writing (was my 1st written permission). Even though they asked me to do it as a three month trial, they never actually stated a date on the permission form Zini, the cemy aint exactly very big its about 90 by about 120 metres The paddock permission backs onto it though but again thats not massive. The good news though, is that Mark who owns the horses is taking over another field across the road sometime early next year and he's already given me permission to shoot that one once he's paying rent for it. I cant wait for that as its got a huge embankme

Thanks guy's Wend out there tonight to drop some bunnies The light dusting of snow that we've had is now frozen, so every step I took was CRUNCH, CRUNCH, CRUNCH Needless to say I didn't get to see a bunny Well I saw the tail and arse end of one as it legged it down a hole. The good thing was though, that I could see the tracks to the active warrens so I'm thinking after I have seen my GP in the morning, I'm gonna wrap up warm, with a flask of fresh ground Itallian coffee, my roll mat and ponch hide and live up to my name Then its Bring on them bunnies for conversion

Hmmm....... Have I missed something No one mentioned shooting at the heart and lungs did they? But Zak, take a look at this, I remember it being on the telly (news at 10 or something) Phantom

I thoroughly agree with you on that buddy. But if there wasn't then the do good bunnie hugging hippies wouldn't have as much to whinge about would they. I heard that there was a party of them causing a disturbance last night. The police arrived and arrested the two singers for having it away with a bunny They were singing simply red songs  The first one was charged with "Holding back the ears" and the other was caught singing "Bunnies too tight to mention" Phantom

Cheers guy's I was thinking of having a wander down there this evening, but to be honest, I'm not in the mood for it I could pretend that the bunnies work for the Job Centre I suppose, but then I just wouldn't want to waste my time with them ( useless pieces of turd brained idiots :realmad: ) Phantom

Is My air rifle good?
Phantom replied to Countrykid's topic in Rifle Reviews, Technical Help and Tips
I love my SMK, but a hell of a lot of people slate them, probably because they are cheap (just like they used to call Honda, Kawasaki etc Jap-Crap) but look at them now. The americans love em because they can be tuned very cheaply. What pellets are you using in the rifle? Phantom -
Is My air rifle good?
Phantom replied to Countrykid's topic in Rifle Reviews, Technical Help and Tips
Bam are the SMK rifles that are sold in the USA. They are cheap but just because they are cheap, do not dismiss them. Have you shot any other spring rifle? if so were you getting better results than what you are now? Phantom -
I submitted my logs to the guy from the church and reminded him that my 3 month trial finished on the 13th of december I told him that I had made inroads to the bunny population there, but due to the number of bunnies in the horse paddock and the old ladies property next door comming into the cemetery, the population will certainly continue to grow if they are not kept in check. I also told him that the horse owner has given me written permission for the paddock so I can also tackle the problem from that side as well and that I have dropped a few that were heading into the cemetery f

.177 or .22 I've had em both and I use em both. If you hit the noggin correctly then both will kill as well as each other. If your a crud marksman, then both will miss or worse still wound. Phantom

If its what I think it is, then its usefull if you dont wear glasses in strong light. If its not, then I'll shut my mouth Phantom
-
I suppose if you are a super accurate marksman and can shatter the spinal column above the shoulder, then it would kill the bunny. But you would have to have exceptional skill to hit it so that the heart and lungs stopped working instantly. Otherwise you would just turn said bunny into one that needs constant care and attention as well as a wheelchaire to get around the warrens Some people just aint got the sense they were born with. They should have been put down at birth and also the parents, to prevent another accident of nature being bread Phantom

Hi Zak, Hawke didn't make it from what I gather. They just purchased the rights to it They also have a similar program that I think uses the same algorithams the Hawke Balistic Reticule Calculator (BRC) Both programs are bloody good Phantom

that really pisses me off when that happens! Not as much as it did me I fired at three bunnies, 1st I don't know how the I missed 2nd bunny ducked and I saw the pellet go just over its head 3rd bunny I aimed at was munching and as I fired, it put its head up Tell you if they had beards, he would have had a very close shave indeed. Thinking of going out later if the fog stays away, I need me a bunny so I can slit its guts for the Corvids and then pop a few of them off as they try to gobble em up. Phantom

I spent the latter part of yesterday on my small Paddock permission. Mainly to check zero after I had to take the air cylinder off to get inside and dry the gun off properly after I got caught in a torrential downpour. Bunnies were out despite the freezing temps (I put 5 pellets on each other in the zero card, but missed every sodding bunny I took aim at (I'll put it down to the cold extreme ). I am looking forward to some snow shooting as they will be easier to spot Phantom

Finally got the drivers for the sound Your footage is so much better with a bit of sound added Phantom

Nice shooting Luke The force is strong in this Luke dont you think guy's? Keep em comming Phantom

Yeah I could do with a permanant hide there. Somewhere I have one of those fishing half dome shelters that I am thinking of using. But I reckon the nags would eat the thing! or I'd have some fecking schoolie set fire to it May give it a try at the weekend if I can find it. Phantom

CK, What Rifle do you have? My springer (my favorite is a .22 less than 100 quid rifle, that many people say is crappy ) is an SMK XS19 and its been responsible for quite a few head shot bunnies out to 35 yards. Phantom
-
Cheers for the tip Stealthy I'll try that if I manage to bag another one in the morning (assuming I can get out of my pit). Phantom

Sub sonic rounds such as air pellets (and many rim and centre fire rounds) will just make their way to the bottom of the water. Hypersonic rounds will disintegrate as they hit the water The chance of a bounce is millions to one. Am I the only one who watches Myth Busters on Discovery? Phantom

Hey guy's Promissed myself I would be up for an early start today, so set my alarm for 06:00 The problem was though that I still felt (still do) so fecking ill, I kept hitting the snooze button, then after an hour of the beeper going off every ten minutes Lesley made me hit the off botton and I returned to sleep until about 09:00 Eventually I decided I MUST get out with my gun or I would crack up. So I Got my gear together, pumped up the S200 back to 180 bar and for the 1st time, it was fecking hard work I'll put that down to me being ill Left home at about 15:00 and arrived 15
