Really I Know its illegal to shoot 'Game' on xmas day, but do the GL's state this animal must not be shot at this time? I'll try to find out. Phantom

One thing to try on woody decoy's is to use an Ultraviolate security marker on their backs, shell of full bodied deek's Seems to work a treat according to a few people I know and Steve Price was the one who I first heard of this technique from. He uses it to great effect I haven't tried it yet; as I have no woody deek's but I am thinking of getting some very soon. Phantom PS don't use it on corvid deeks!! It's guarenteed to scare the corvids off if you use ultraviolate on them.!

Aye, same to one and all Phantom

Nice going TC Are you sure that woody looked away and it wasnt the force of the 'lead slap in the ed' that turned it head? Just awaiting your vid to load (slow connection today ) Phantom

Yeeeeehaaaaaaa Cajun Squizzer A friend of mine was going on about the amount of grey squizzer running around where he works I said well introduce me to the manager and I'll have plenty of the furry feckers for you to put on the plate (he's a chef!) He reckons the old coffin dodgers would take offence as they like to feed em   I said well, I can shoot whinging coffin dodgers as well Phantom

Yeah Davy has an EXTREMELY VALUABLE POINT there! Forgot to mention when I followed up with my original answer INSURANCE I have got BASA papers 18£ for a year to the tune of £2 million (minimumn public liability for any one incident) Not that I need it mind (because we are all very safe shooters aint we?) But it gives peace of mind to the land owners and although it costs, its deffo worth every single penny, for each and every shot you think about taking Phantom PS it was one of Grim's letters that helped get me my Cemetery Permission

:notworthy: CLASS answer Luke I just love your style buddy Phantom

Identical to the one I have on my baby (S200), I paid about £18.00 for it including P&P from China rather than paying rip off uk uk prices. Took 9 days from order to delivery so well worth bypassing the UK (I'll add 100% to the price and charge the sucker uk buyer for delivery as well) merchant. Phantom

Darryl, thats a sweet shot Perfection. Phantom

Yep, thats about the long and short of it And be prepared for a lot of 'NOT a f g CHANCE buddy'. Sad but true, took me a hell of a long time to get a permission. As look would have it, I just happened by a field at the same time the horse owner was doing some work there and got chatting to him. Complete FLUKE, but he gave me a verbal permission. It was nearly a year before I actually got it in writing from him after that. I got the Cemetery permission over six months after I first 'offered my services' tot he church and that was because I pointed out all the damage the bunnies were c

We have some HUGE Woodies round here as well Of which I have shot a huge fat ZERO Nice going That 1st one looks like you put about 50 pellets through it with a scatter gun with all those little feathers sticking out And are they Phezzy heads just awaiting a quick slap with lead? (or have you already done em?) Phantom

Nice going there The Collard Dove is a nice small target for that range, well done. I'm hoping to get to play with a FAC rated TX200 very soon (I had a fondle of it a week or so back). They are a very nice looking piece of kit. Phantom

Its fantastic to hear that So refreshing to hear something like that I believe "Customer Service" are of imperative importance and "After Sales Service" is also just as important. With hearing something like your stories of fantastic aftercare from them, I WILL deffo be saving up for the SR6/SR12 Scope I've been drooling over (although this WILL take time). The opposite has been my experiance from a number of RFD's in this area hence my reluctance to use them as often as I should. I had problems with my Stirrup pump from 'Hills' A respected member of this forum suggeste -
It is deffinately illegal to shoot them on a SUNDAY or on XMAS DAY. Ive just been reading up on the subject before posting and nowhare does it state that its illegal to kill them with an air rifle. But it is considdered "Un-Sportsman like". And there is also a specific period that its deffinately illegal to SELL them. Phantom

Hi Louis, I use the longer barreled version and I personally think its a superb rifle (Copy of the Gamo Hunter and HW35) Phantom

We have one on the 10M indoor range in Hull. Only Dinged it a couple of times with the pistol Phantom

The SMK XS19 is a direct copy of the Gamo Hunter (I had heard it was a copy of a HW but didn't know what model, cheers Wuzzy) The only thing's I have done to my 19 is put a couple of felt pads between the action and stock (works a treat with the noise at the ear and takes a little of the kick out of it) and take the open sights off the gun. I had a custom silencer made for it as well (dirt cheap from UKNiel) but as that was so much more effective than the Air Arms one, I have it now on my S200. Although I like the trigger (fairly stiff) on the 19, I will be investing in a GRT III tr

Just had a thought (yeah it hurt like hell as I dont usually have many ) My 1st competition win was with a Co2 jobbie granted it was a pistol at 6 yards (but I also shoot 10M) with them and they are only putting out less than 2ft/lbs. A friend of mine in Rotherham has just purchased a couple of QB's and he is going to convert them both to PCP and he will do this reletively cheaply (cuz he's an engineer and a tight wad!). When I first came back into shooting a couple of years ago, I tried a couple of Co2 Rifles on the range and was easilly knocking over targets out to 40 yards. I
