  1. Thanks Davy, I'm just waiting for the wind to drop cuz I'm chomping at the bit to go shoot it. I'm like a kid with a new toy!! Phantom
  2. Zak ALL superstitious crap is just a rumor started by someone. People have been killing black bunnies for centuries. Mind you, I suppose it was actually unlucky for the Black Bunny. Phantom
  3. Niel, If you fancy a boppin session feel free to drop me a text when the weather improves and we'll have a stalk around. I was planning on having a wander today, but when I looked out I dont think I'd have enough mildots to compensate for the wind pushing the pellets a mile off target, and now its p!ssing it down But if you jinx this one for me, YOUR BANNED :11: Phantom
  4. Thats the clearest pic I've seen of that, thank you Roger However I seem to think that it caused quite a bit of a stirr last time it was put up by someone and SS saw fit to remove it (I think). But I could be wrong there:icon_redface: Phantom
  5. Sweet Always good to christen a new gun in blood on the 1st squeeze of the trigger Phantom
  6. But they breed and do just as much damage as any other bunnies It won't be long before he's pleading with you to get the cute ones Phantom
  7. I can see it in the papers now!!!!! Racist Rabbit Killer! This pest controller is Racist, he killed a 'BLACK' Rabbit, but didn't even think to point his gun at a 'Non ethnic British Rabbit' Oh the fall out from this will surely start mass race riots in every British Warren throughout the land. Seriously Well done my friend Your 1st will stay with you forever, so will the day you bag more than one. Well done Buddy Phantom
  8. Thanks guy's I'll have a looksee, but I wont be buying owt until well after the silly season next month Phantom
  9. Which site are you talking here? The BASA liability is the minimum of £2,000,000 (think thats the minimum allowed by law?) Phantom
  10. Using a 7 grain pellet that works out at about 25ish ft/lbs I seem to remember the Gamo hunter being advertised in .177 at producing the same velocity with the Gamo PBA pellets They demonstrated how effective they were by shooting Wild Boar and BobCats in the noggin with instant kills Wonder how well they would perform in a Sub 12 Phantom
  11. Two shots that hit the mark Deffo worth getting cold and wet for Phantom
  12. Thanks guy's, Yep I'm chuffed to bits There will many more bunnies to come from there And of course, the reason I got the permission in the 1st place was to drop as many Corvids as possible to protect the horses, so I look forward to bagging my 1st of many Corvids and of course WOODIES.. Phantom
  13. Hi Buddy, What model is it? and what range are you using it at? Phantom
  14. Looks sweet Rob:thumbs: But did ya have to put the love juice stain in the pic :tongue2: Only kidding buddy Phantom
  15. Was down the cemy this morning in the hope of giving some lead poisoning to some bunnies Was down the far end not far from where my verbal permission is when I saw two kids comming from the paddock into the cemy via the fence One of em shouts "I aint off in there theres a man with a f'king gun" Immediately a young girl arrives at the fence (looked about 15) with a young child of maybe 6 months in her arms Now I'm sorry, but if I was her and having heard what the young kid had shouted, I would be heading in the opposite direction with the child not making my way over to see
  16. Paddy my good fellow; I'd have to disagree with you on the Pheasant, etc.. I know they are not considdered vermin or pest, but if the land owner has no objection then you could easily take pheasant with a sub 12 In fact there is a book on the very subject that is advertised on this forum about this the link leads here http://www.darcybook...ncedairgun.html Also mentioned are other quarry such as Grouse and Geese Phantom
  17. I have never seen a dog shoot a rifle, and they dont make very good bipods as they move too much! I've heard of a horse that shoots though. It was called Trigger:oops: Phantom
  18. Laughed my ass off Linford Christie Bunny I have a couple of moggies that hang around the Cemy now and again. I was watching this big black Tom meandering over my verbal permission a week or two back. It had been sat on the hay that the nags were munching away on and it jumped down onto the little Shetlands back then onto the ground. I stood and watched from the back of the cemy as it made its way over towards the fence where a rather large bunny was sat (out of my range!) Old bug's sat up on his hind legs, ears up and the moggy froze instantly. So I'm thinking the little b'stard
  19. Welcome back Trevor, Quite a lot has changed Now go catch up Phantom
  20. Hi Lizard, Just need some third party and public liability insurance. I've chosen BASA (via the airgun mags) cost me about £18.00 a year. Looked at BASC insurance, good but very pricy for my pocket So as I only needed a basic insurance I got it from BASA. There was supposed to be a THL club insurance arranged with a company, but having tried numerous times to get info and having no replies I figured it may no longer be available. Phantom
  21. Sweet Nice when it falls gently into your lap Took me a great deal of time to get a verbal, even longer to get a written permission. I am assuming your a competent shot and you've got relevent insurance? If no to either, then sort it quick and lastly; dont forget to take your camera with your rifle Phantom
  22. "Safe and Successful Easy Airgun Hunting Volume 2" At the start of this DVD program, Steve introduces his rifle of choice for this program, the whisper quiet Webley Venom Sidewinder PCP. He praises this rifle's superb accuracy and its ability to easily despatch vermin out to and beyond 40 yards. After trying this rifle out myself a few weeks ago I have to agree with all Steve says about it. Steve shows us a large warren in a field and where he is going to set up his ambush and details why he has chosen this particular spot for sniping at the bunnies. Then the action start
  23. I would like to replace the bikini stock on my S200 with a nice sexy one piece So if you know of any one piece jobs around, I'd happily part with the bikini stock Phantom
