Well done Si But please hold off the xmas stuff please! Its still nearly two weeks away ( what no BAH HUMBUG smiley ) Phantom
-
Excellent shot placement there fella well done Very good pix as well Phantom

Nice work there gents and an excellent read as always Si Its very reassuring to a lot of hunters (especially the newer ones) that someone such as yourself can miss a close range shot even if it is extemely rare. There are people on here who often stick up their fantastic shots but I've noticed only a few of us actually put up our missed shots. The same with people who make less than perfect shots, very few of us actually admit that we do it. Well done Phantom

And boy did she throw it at me this aft She can be a real bitch you know. Arrived at the permission one in the bag within a few minutes I'll do a quick write up on another thread and you can read all. So much for (Quoting Forecast) "A very early return to fog because of the clear skies"........ lying cow! Phantom

Good job all rabbits aren't like this one.....
Phantom replied to Marksman's topic in General Airgun Discussion
Good clips Did anyone see the squizzer take on the snake? That was seriously awsome, did more damage to the snake than the bunny versus the snake. Just in case anyone missed it Phantom -

Hey Chriso, You will be delighted when you get your 1st I guarentee it I know all about the frustrations of the cold, Last week I had two pairs of gloves on and my fingers were killing me because of the cold. It takes practise to control both your breathing AND the shivering Good luck on your first That one will stay with you forever Phantom

Fecking ell boy! Your shooting is superb, that bunny was precisley how I like to see mine go. Frozen in time (of death)! That Corvid shot was also superb Damn, I'm gonna have to buy the DVD's just so I can hear the commentery (cuz he forgot the sub titles ) Phantom

Nowt wrong with a Pheasant with an air rifle, as long as you have the permission to do so The term Ringnecks has me a little worried though. I am hoping you mean Collard Dove and not the Parakeets? If its the Ring Neck Parakeet, you aint allowed to shoot em till they go on the General Licence in January 2010! If you mean the Dove's then SaaaahhhhWEEEEEEET Phantom

Hey, Hype's Back Welcome Back Buddy Missed yah (I've got me scope zeroed now though, so shouldn't miss next time ) Phantom

I like Calm conditions (but not foggy like it is round here tonight). Like Zini say's sniping over a warren is superb in calm conditions (my nickname elsewhere is 'The Cotton Tail Assassin' because I love to assassinate them as they leave the warren). I also hunt into the wind very well. The great thing about tonight and indeed the next few nights, is there is little or no Luna shine. this helps a tremendous amount as its unlikely that your face/hands etc will be illuminated. Phantom

Email Niel Price (UKNiel on airgunbbs) He made mine for my springer which now sits on my S200 which is so much better than the Air Arms one that came with my S200 When it comes to custom silencers he is the man for the job Had mine done and in my hands in a couple of days and very, very good price (cheaper than all the main manufacturers) Phantom

Davy my good fellow, That is what I call superb shot placement Well done buddy You should see the furry feckers at the hotel we use for the UBC comps in Coventry. First night there, opened the curtains in the morning, counted 40 odd and all I had on me were my pistols Next time I take the S200 Again; great shooting. Phantom

:11: Its deffo a spree C Side I just aint been able to get back out there yet, bloody fog early morning, busy during the day, had planned on getting back out this morning as it was supposed to be clear. Woke up with my throat feeling like I'd been swallowing coarse gravel chips all night and my head had a Jackhammer on full speed inside it Then to top it all my wife demanded I go into the cess pit known as Hull to act as pack mule for her xmas shopping spree :realmad: GIVE ME STRENGTH!! Having consumed numerous pain killers for the head and gone through almost a full bo

Hi FV, I hope they can sort it out for you and quick sharpe I find it really facinating how a single gun shop can deal with the manufacturer and not the importer, who actually have the SOLE import and servicing rights in the UK perhap's they could sue HW for breach of contract. I'll have a word in the ear of someone I know That would surely be classed as a 'Grey Import' ? Must let Dave and Paul know they can deal with the HW instead of having to pay HC's prices Must admit HC do get a bit of stick up these parts for not doing things properly and taking their time when it comes
-
Hi Dave, Hit a Duck with either a .177 or a .22 in the head from a sensible distance (your comfort zone for accuracy) when they are in season and it's gonna go down to end up on your plate Do it "out of season" however it will be you going down I almost took a shot at one last week, but it took to the sky Phantom
-
Thats correct Stealthy Like I said, I reckon someone's pulling a leg or two. Phantom
-
Why did the gunsmith send it to Germany? All HW repairs and servicing etc are done up here in Hull. I think he's pulling your leg buddy Phantom
-
Si, Yes its a PCP Chris did offer to come get me , but as he mentioned, its well and truely way out of the way. Next year I hope to get up there with you all Even if it means getting a train to somewhere close and walking the rest. Phantom
-
Thank you Si, Thought it was time for a change. The gun is the "Concept Gun" that Webley had built the day before I got to play with it! One of a kind not yet in production. Nice little gun indeed. Phantom
-
Si, I just gotta tell you this!!!! Your lil ole dawgie appears to be trying to give that bunny a BJ You need to get the lil fella a bitch, he's clearly sexually frustrated Excellent shooting as well as per usual Phantom

Silent target question (and glasses !)
Phantom replied to BellySlater's topic in Rifle Reviews, Technical Help and Tips
Yeah, I'm guilty, it was me Well sort of. My portable backstop and pellet catcher is an A4 (well a little bigger) baking tray that is filled with Plumbing Putty (it never sets and won't dry out). I just take that with me and yes its virtually silent. Pick the lead out after the session though as leaving em in makes the thing heavy to lug about. I use ordinary a4 paper with cross's on or printed targets. They just "Stick" to the putty and are easily removed. The putty also helps the prevent the paper ripping, so you can easily see where the last pellet strikes Shame about the -
