    Bunged into him a few times back in my raving days.Always polite and jovial enough but did come across as a bit of a bell end.He came down to kent back in the 90s when we were putting on parties and offered his services but was told politely that they wernt needed.I think he was shocked at the do's we were putting on.I'm sure he thought we were a load of old carrot crunchers putting on barn dances.

    The reason falconers feed day old chicks is because they don't have much nutritional value so you can give a bird a good feed and it will be back on weight the next day and wanting food whereas if you feed them pheasant partridge rat etc they will get a lot from it so won't be feeling hungry or will be high in condition so be less responsive or willing to hunt the next day.

I think the guy who owned punch used one of the dogs we ran to bring punch on,he will remember us as the bunch of travellers with shepp,the big deerhound cross,was the owner a brickie?That's him mate.His pal had a black and white first cross who was Punch's half brother fella who owned it was a real good bird catcher.     I'm not questioning that you keep your dog's well but like you've just said you've had 8-10 dogs bouncing at the same time.Now imagine if you had 3 or 4 bulldogs from the same litter all ready to start schooling which is what rolls are as they are not just about finding out if a dog will quit they're also to put youngsters in with dogs with different styles.You couldn't even put 3 bulldogs in top condition at the same time.Unless that's all you did from the minute you got up until you went to bed.And even if you did you would be learning g nothing from it schooling rolls would basically become

    I know I've been around greyhounds too.But the workload it takes over an eight week period to put a bulldog in condition would kill a greyhound.Heres a question how many greyhounds could you personally have racing successfully at any given time.

    Nobody's talking about contests.Rolls are not contests they are they are used to put a young dog against dogs with different styles to see what a young dog has about it in the quickest way possible.Day for instance a dog is going to be rolled 4 or 5 times between the age of 1 and 2 yrs if the youngster is rolled in average condition well fed and walked a few times a week each roll might last 30 mins before the youngster gets tired and has to show it has a bit of heart . whereas if that youngster was conditioned to go 3hrs you wouldn't even be able to roll it 4 times in a year and even if you d

    Max any bulldog only has so many hours of fighting in it throughout its life so you don't want to be wasting hours and risking serious injury by rolling it for hours at a time when you can find out what you need to to know by rolling it in everyday maintenance condition.

    Seen The Selecter a couple of times in a tiny boozer near me seen The Specials a few times over the last 20 yrs Toots and the Maytels a few times but the best I've seen live was The Beat last year in a tiny little venue behind a restaurant in Whitstable.Going to see The Specials again in November in Southend.Not really fussed on it as half the band won't even be original members but I'm going with 8 birds from Essex who love a good piss up so it should be a crack if nothing else.Also seen loads of oi and punk bands over the years.

    LIke i said thats dirty little Millwall slags for you they gave up years ago.......have a look around Canning Town/Custom House/Silvertown/Beckton etc theres still pockets of proud white English folk who have stuck in and stayed true to their area.very small pockets haha.

    Bred a litter a good few years ago out of a Mike Brown bred whippet to a very well bred bull bitch I owned.It was exactly the same time that JP was breeding his first litter of pocket rockets.To be honest they all lacked the pace to be a good standard at anything more than maybe pulling something from a hole and to be fair you don't really need a lurcher to do that.I don't believe the smaller frame of the whippet carries the extra weight or bulk whatever you want to call it that the taller longer frame of the greyhound can.

    you think thats fair lol.try this one 15 yrs ago my two rottys caught a man in my property.only had him for two minutes long enough for him to be in hospital for 3 days..and me in the cells for 6 fcuking hoursthats horrendous In hospital for 3 days.I hope you got shot of them and got yourself a couple of decent guard dogs.
