It was fine this morning then got gusty at lunch time then the predicted 30 /80 mile a hour winds came even the geese where only 20 yards off the ground . good on you for getting a few in those conditions mate

The ones i saw where a bit different and they knew it pure muscle whores liking a porche to a corsa but when they where working the guys pulled out a raw chicken leg to get them to exit the burrow , and that was it for me im sure i laughed so hard a little bit of pee came out , then my days ferreting was over i was fascinated by the effort these guys had to go to to get there ferrets back

Well nearly ive 12 here and there all just ferret to ferret never seem a show or a cotton bud and never will but there all different colours wait till your old as me and your eye sight starts to go and you need to pop 4 or 5 different coloured ferrets in a warren to keep track that there all moving about without tramping all over the warren with a knocker box

Its amazing how many folk still fall for this type of thing , and i was swamped over xmas with these emails , i reckon the problem is the government dont try hard enough to catch them them . them the punishment doesn't fit the crime , they bring misery to the most vulnerable taking money from the elderly who need it most

If you got good working ferrets you don't need any quirks Ive saw 3 working and i wouldn't give any of them hutch room , if fact i rehomed 2 of them for the guys who grew fed up of them and they went to a show guy who knew them for what they where just really dark polecats

How can you value a permission there's some i only need to go on to once a year , then others 3/4 times a season and others you can go every other week .But a good farmers worth there weight in gold these days , most if there getting something for nothing will let everybody on it , then how can you plan things or leave snares or traps out ?. If ive got a good farmer do what you can get out during the week that seems to impress them more than the weekend warriors that seem to just turn up for a couple of hours on a saturday morning . And i would be wary of your so called mate wanting to

Same here caught loads of diffrent odd coloured ones over the years but never a albino , picked up a lop ear and a old english but i reckon they where pets that got dumped
