Thanks, any idea where, or what brands that might be? I was going to type in a meal for sensitive stomach s etc, I think read few years ago that some gsds are bit prone to sensitive guts, well he 1/2 gsd, but old Bryn my collie x grey was bit similar as well. The wife having look on her phone now as well, for brand sensitive guts.

Right, don't know if anybody dog similar to Buck, regards the shits. I've been feeding 1lb rawmince chicken, and bit of biscuit for years. Both him and old Bryn that I had same food, always eat well, plenty of energy etc, the 1st shit norm type stool, the next sloppy, and if another, sloppy. It norm type brand (arkwright) chicken, 19 % protein and norm other stuff, with cereals. Now I always thought lot lurchers are bit like them, bit loose etc. Buck old now he 11, he OK just old dog, i told my vet that he gets bit loose and some times there like a small clear type bag that comes out as

spot on, alot of times some pups are already picked , the ones i go for and this is just temp, are nice confident temps and ok size, at 8 - 9 weeks they change in size any way, but in temp alot keep that type temp, well ive found that after 37 years with lurchers, and similar with other breeds . i go for parents 24-25in and strong build 50-60lb , good coat , bit of luck your pup be similar size when full grown.

it was a apbt = bulldog bitch, reid lines 20in 58 big strong bitch, temp was ok, but kept her on the lead, save3 all the agro if locked on another dog.

I used carry a break stick, when I took my put bitch out, norm shout the feck at the other dog owners, to call it away, my bitch was OK, but a 58lb strong bulldog, not one fook about with. I've changed my mind about muzzling a lurcher when out, because there no law that says they have be muzzled from what I've read on this post unless it's racing greyhound, pet, retired pet greys don't need to be. OK that woman I met with the greyhound who was OK, it was the saluki type grey that was sharp with other dogs, with dog like that if mine I keep it on a lead In public, and loose it off just going d

Lol, feckin Buck do the same as well, he strange bloody dog, he don't bark, so good as guard, don't fights other dogs, even if they pick on him, wouldn't protect me either lol. And yet I've seen him locked on to plenty of big thigs to fill me freezer, and killed and reteve Charlie's back to at night lol. When he was hunting he a different dog, best way really, like you say mate, it's a fookin ball ache with dog that attack people and dogs all the while, good job he bit wimpy in some ways, or it be bloody dangerous to take out.!

Met a nice woman (yank) not bad looking either lol, she had a male greyhound, and bitch lurcher, most greyhound she bit saluki in it, I think prob little drop of pit in there, as it was bit stronger greyhound, but looked just like strong fawn greyhound at a distance. Anyway old Buck would go to close to it, and little woody didn't get that close for feckin once lol. Her dogs calmed a bit one they know my old dogs, wouldn't bother them. I told her the prob I've had with thick dog owners, not calling there off and and few kicking off on Buck, he not a dog fighter, only thing he kill wild a

True, but if you really concerned, I take it out on its own. I know it a pup, and just playing and bit vocal. But I deff try to get it out on its own few times, it get more than enough exercise, when you work on rabbits, it have plenty of other time to play with the other dog as it gets older.
-
True Joe, I can see where you coming from mate. But I will say this, since I've been on here I've met some real nice people, been out lamping and mooching about. And if when I've lost dogs in the past, some killed in the field, never said nothing only the lads knew I been lamping with. But my last 2 lurchers, old Bryn and old Buck who I still got, few lads off here knew them both, Buck near. 11 like said on here when that sad day comes I let few know on here, who knew the dog, he been my best lamp dog, so I might find it hard to just feckin write him, never mind putting a post up.!!

Another sad read, I know he done your head in at times mate, but knocks the crap out of you, when you know he not in his kennel or in the house at night. Big old Buck near 11 now, I know big dogs go quicker than small dogs, but hope he go few more years yet.

Sad day mate, never easy.

There very good chance that you got flat feet =dropped arch, I've got flat feet and the instep support your on about make massive difference to my feet when wearing any footwear =boots, wellies, etc, I had them in my trainers as well, could run 20 mile in 2 hours, and done 1mile 5 mins. But the worst thing for feet is running on the roads. Anything soild base, far better running on grass etc.
-
That looks bit promising mate, pm me some more info , and phone them etc.

after some marrow beef bones for dogs, i used get them from (T. p. m.s ) when i got 1 lb raw mince chicken of them. but they dont hae the bones no more ? butchers by my dont get many of him, so bit of a struggle at moment for old Buck. if i could get a delivery of 1/2 dozen be great, but dont think people will deliver just bones with out the dog meat. with Tpms they would only deliver if you had 100 bags raw mince chicken,( if) they had any bones, but dont need that many bags meat now anyway . just thought incase anybody might know some people that does the bones .!

It on think 16-17th sep, but fookin £35 quid on the gate, I was going to look and try some cheep wellies on, poss Dunlop premium think £ 50 quid, but I've learnt the hard way with boots/clothes you deff need to try them 1st, so it be 1 1/2 drive, and if bought any, it be near £100 quid, that's with anything else, was taking old Buck with me, might his last game fair, to go to, he 11 in August, he OK for his age as yet.

Was thinking that me self, say nice grew to a acd bitch, a not quite a 1x as such with 2 sighthounds as such in the mix but poss better, as whippet gives speed/agility, and plenty of guts for most quarry, the none ped racing whippets down the track hit 22-23in 34lb, would pile into foxes no prob if you let them, so drop greyhound as well good as well. The acd side clever tough dogs great stamina, good coat, I really think make good mooching dog, and good lamp dog, feck me if big old Buck could catch 38 in a night and couple Charlie's if need be, they do it no prob. If was younger /fitter it
