he did monty don dog a golden retriever , dog collapsed and he done surgery on it, think it was its back. the dog seems fine on the show, he top vet but like been said like most vets today , he very expensive , suppose if you got the money you will pay. but sometimes i think that they plenty of healthy dogs in the pounds , that need a chance in life, why not give them ago, instead of spending £2 000 for OP on a dog that may or may not improve its life .

2 good threads on this post , suppose what gets people backs up , is the breed they like as a pet or worker , cannot function / work for what it was bred for in the 1st place. have not watched the program , as i seen with my own eyes even back in the 80s how some breeds had been ruined by the KC and there description of what a breed of dog should be now, not as what the breed was when 1st bred .Take 2 breeds of to day , the bullmastiff which was my breed in the 80s, they are bred to big ,no agilty, and lost there sharp temp , for what they were bred for, a night dog for a keeper, t

Who ? what are their names ?......as Mick said their was Carnera and Willard at 6 ft 6/7.....beyond that the only one i can think of is Gerry Cooney.... The last thing a pressure fighter like Frazier or Marciano want to face is movement and a giant like Fury who can shift when he needs to would be an absolute nightmare for them guys yet they were 10 times the fighter Fury is.......it go,s against the entire principal of competitive sport when a physical advantage can overcome talent and ability. same with dogs like putting a 50lb pit against 120lb tosa , stops being sport and

funny thing is, i was talking to bloke who not so much against hunting, as he said rabbits, fox, deer, have to be controlled , and he had mate that went out shooting rabbits etc for a farmer . But he did put a a point over to me regards ferrting and digging , that if a rabbit or a fox had took sanctuary in the ground why not leave it there, just control them above ground . as he said his mate shoots loads of rabbits , and kept foxes down with the rifle . There is no doubt about a good shooter can deff thin them out more so in the lamp . but i told him not all landowners are ke
