    As you say a hare will only run as fast as it's pushed to much speed can be as detrimental as not enough and brains will kill you more decent hares than speed alone obviously a lot more to it but just quoting you on the speed factor there..

    Been difficult to walk the dogs this last week they’ve been happy enough with a short walk first thing then the rest the time just pottering in n out the garden

    I can only speak as I find n he never did me any harm he’s also not always had it easy in life but craics on with it n puts a lot of time into his dogs n always been ok with me so I guess it’s fair to say I have abit of genuine respect for the man but can only speak for myself he’s not a member on here anymore tho so il not mention much more about him. Abit about the dogs tbf what the minshaw dogs were well known for was not really my thing but they did what there owners wanted which was to put as many bodies on the deck as possible were as I prefer quality over quantity but when I went u

    I never found him to be like that personally joe just passionate about those dogs n the times spent with them n don’t remember him ever saying they were all world beaters etc just a good thread about good pics n stories of times spent with those dogs back in the day n not saying some of the stories weren’t true as I’m sure they were but they was real entertaining as well as being a right good laugh can’t see the harm.

    It’s a shame the other thread went west really as there was a lot of time went into it not just the dogs but the stories n although the dogs won’t suit everyone it made enthralling reading probably those pics n stories never to be seen again now.

    I'd like to try that little kes bitch if she was around today little stick of dynamite also liked the look of that patch dog n his sister Chelsea n that Chester was exciting to watch good gearbox on him and jack was a decent dog still filling the freezer at 10 year had a chest like a steering wheel n fantastic boots on him he was a fighter tho n he n my saluki x got stuck into each other one night that I thought wasn't going to end well for both dogs but luckily both was ok I think a few could be funny like..

    Your bang on, tbh iv had a couple of accidents with my dog lately so I'm not perfect but there's a fair bit of gear by me so can sometimes be tricky to avoid and I still like to be out n about in the countryside but genuine accidents such as one day I'd only just got over a style n a buck jumped up before I could scan the field I know there still in season and I don't mind somebody taking the odd one but not for me, but I do always try my best to avoid stuff out of season n even referred to keeping him on the lead this week just in case, unless I go to the beach or river, I can't understand pe

    Iv just purchased a lamp from Mr Lloyds I think it's a 120 I won't be doing any rabbiting until next season but it will be good for checking out som spots to see what's about for later in the year so I don't know what it's like yet but it seems a good sturdy little thing comfortable to hold n just having a quick flick out the back it seems to have a cracking beam on it..
