  1. Where i'm from is relevant? I've used airguns loads, and claiming a clean kill at 60 yards with a pellet gun is quite simply fantasy land. Of course, you obviously know more than me........ I think it may be you that is living in a fantasy land, of course a sub 12ftlb air rifle can kill at 60yrds, personally I wouldn't feel comfortable enough to take on a shot at that range, but it doesn't mean people with a lot better ability than you or I can't. Most of my quarry is taken between 15-40yrds, Dependent on conditions and which rifle/caliber I'm using, I do have a clean kill 99% of t
  2. It's not the selling of social housing that has caused the problem, The people that bought the ex council houses still live in them, or have sold them on and moved into another house, If they hadn't bought them at the reduced rates they wouldn't have been able to afford to buy, so would still need the house if it hadn't been sold. It's the lack of house building plus the rise in population and immigration that has caused it. Supply and demand. More people needing fewer available houses means prices increase, which means more profits for the big companies that do build houses, which in turn
  3. Great Gun, but he'll be hard pushed to find one for 200 notes. Now the HW35 is a cracking gun for the money, and you'll find them for around the £150 mark.
  4. How can Man U Fans moan about Referee decisions at Old Trafford, They have been happening for years but they only moan about the ones that suit them. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YaBZDhDiUsM http://i218.photobucket.com/albums/cc85/Maxnjake/Iphone/B1DE5E29-CBB6-4F64-BFE0-0D4CB4F9FDFA-4126-000003FA78212013.jpg

  6. 2 to 1 for, so far Well if I'm gonna prep it, any Recommended Recipes?
  7. Anyone tried Squirrel? I hear its supposed to be a nice meat, One of the permissions i have is full of them, and i have recently been asked to get rid of them, so far i have fed them to the ferrets, but if they are worth the effort, I'll prep them and make a meal. So, are they "nice"? and are they worth the prep effort?
  8. It may or may not be the piece of scum, but there is a worldwide injunction against Identifying him, be prepared for a knock on the door from the internet Gestapo! But he Aint in Jail.
  9. Yep it's been done before. The answers will be the same, all but a small minority of the the older guys that started with a mk1 will say its better, and everyone that started with a mk3 will say thats better. I think it's a lot like old fellas saying " you can't beat the good old British Bikes!" Well actually you can, Just about every Jap bike ever built was better, but Nostalgia and a fear of the new, make the old seem better.
  10. Congratulations RM on your Bonny Bain to be. I started my boy at 3yrs old, but my little girl started later, she had just turned 4 they both still love it, the girl is still four and the boy is eight now.
  11. Very good advice from Craig It's all very well hitting groups at your zero, but you need to learn what the different distances are, and what holdover/under you will need to hit the target at those distances. Set your Zero at about 30 yards, then move back to 35, then 40, and move forward to 25, 20 etc, practice learning where your aim points are at different distances, when you can judge from about 15 to 50, THEN you'll be ready to shoot living animals. 12. Questions that are nigh on impossible to answer with any certainty unless you were in that situation. As a parent, i think, I would Probably hand my child in if one of them had done something like that. I would probably agree with the death penalty if it was in force, IF my child was an adult, I think it would be better for Him/Her than to spend the rest of their natural life in Prison. If they were a child, as in the Jamie Bulger case, then NO, i wouldn't agree with the death penalty, as much as i would want it if it was my child abducted. In that case they were very young, an

  14. Yep, Lowa gtx for me too, can't fault them.
  15. im in herts as well mate, few places i used go got hammered to the point you was lucky to get a run mainly by the shooting lads im afraid to say but even though i tend to get around a bit numbers are still very low, just got to lay off and hope for the best next season cheers I could understand if the permissions had been Hammered, and although there are a few that do one of my permissions, I've got 3 others that no one else goes on, i know they could be poached, but I've never seen any signs of it. Like i said, i've laid off now, and hopefully they'll come back strong next year.

  18. I know there are, you only have to look at Australia, but i don't have the time to travel those miles to catch some rabbits.
  19. I Would probably agree with you if i knew what you were trying to say.
  20. It's fine for a Hw100, as it takes 200 bar, you just get fewer fills than you would from a 300 bar, I have a 232, but my local dive shop usually fills it to 250, and that last pretty well.
  21. I'm pretty sure Butterflies are on the list of banned knives in the UK.
  22. Couldn't tell ya what it's like on a sunny day, Ain't had one since last April. But i don't mind the shitty days, because like you say, it keeps all the tree huggers away.
