  1. I know you state FTF only, but would you consider posting? If you would, I'd take the rifle.
  2. No way! I think its only Nostalgia that makes the Mk1 so popular amongst the "old" fellas, A bit like people saying " You can't beat the old British Motorbikes" Err, Actually you can, on almost every level, but i digress. I've used the Mk1, and to be fair its ok, and does the Job, but So does the Mk3 and too a greater depth. I personally find the Mk3 easier to use too, Although that is probably because i learn't to use it before i used a Mk1 I'm not slateing the Mk1's, It's just that Modern Technology has moved on and the Mk3 is a perfectly good and capable finder, Can someone tel
  3. Great rifle, looks fantastic too, would love a Thumbhole stock, my 97k is my favourite rifle, accuracy is not far off my HW100! Should last a lifetime too.
  4. HW100 all day long, I love shooting my HW97, but when it comes to being the best, the HW100 IS! IMHO, some people will say it's too heavy, I say, get down the gym, mine isn't mint, because I use it, but it has been out in all weathers and never let me down, I accept the AA is also a good rifle, but the HW100 is a whole step above in quality. People go from aa 410's to HW100's, they rarely go the other way!
  5. Ferret Kitts Free to good homes in Hertfordshire, Working Parents. Couple of silver Hobs, and Polcat Hobs and Jills.
  6. Good to see you got your rifle back Jonezy, especially from someone as obviously educated and hard as David Grahem
  7. As above, second hand Weihrauch Hw77, Hw97, Hw95, Hw80, All great guns and will last for years, 177, Is probably better for target shooting, possibly .22 for hunting, but it is a life long argument which is better for hunting. Best advice is to Listen to what most people on here recommend, then try them out at a gun shop or club, and decide which one suits YOU best.
  8. Hi, i'm looking for a ferret in Hertfordshire. doesn't have to be a worker, I Have my own workers, this is for my nephew as a pet, (hopefully get him a taste for the sport )
  9. Not a bad idea, but the trouble is an Internet forum is made up of other peoples business. That's why we're here, to learn, give advice, and make suggestions. It'd be a bit suicidal for the site to ban everyone that gives their view. :-)
  10. You say it is very powerful, how powerful? Is it FAC? Thanks.
  11. A Location might help, I'd be interested depending where you are.
  12. Looks like a good night out, always nice to come home with a pot filla.
  13. I don't know if this has been done before, If so, then i apolagise, But i see the amount of dogs advertised as "Kc Registered" then asking stupid prices for them. I'm not a dog man myself, even though I do have a little, non kc Border that does a good job for me bushing and marking rabbits. Anyway, my point is, can't the Mods ban adverts for Kc registered dogs? (and the associated inflated prices) Ok, i understand that there are probably a few good workers that are Kc registered, but i don't think that you guys that work your dogs properly would give a monkeys arse if they were Kc or not, s
  14. Yep, Plenty of times. But an animal one i remember in particular, is when i came home pissed with a mate, and decided i'd show him my Usually friendly Macaw, Angry bird wern't happy about being woken up though, (Just like human "birds" ) And nearly bit my bloody finger off.
  15. I would imagine they are possible, most animals can produce an albino, but being a wild animal, I cant imagine they would last long, ever tried hiding/hunting in a Hi-vis?
  16. Cheers for all the hard work Ian, It is appreciated mate.
  17. Sorry, not looking for a swap, I'm looking for a bit of cash, Open to offers on either of them though.

The first one is a Ritcher Optik 3-9x50E Illuminated Mil Dot scope. £50 Posted The second one is my Hawke Sport Illuminated HD 4-12x50 AO Mil Dot. £65 Posted Both Scopes come with mounts and are in excellent condition as you can see in the photos.
  19. As per the Tittle. I Am selling my MTC VIPER 8-32x60. I only bought this Recently, and to be fair it is an absolutely fantastic scope, Which is why it's up for sale It is so good that it far outperforms my ability with a rifle, because i only use my rifles for hunting it will never get used to it's ability at the ranges I'm comfortable shooting. It is in brilliant condition, with only a couple of very tiny marks on the small side parallax wheel which would be covered by the large wheel and a tiny scratch near the front that can barely be seen, the lenses are spotless and it comes in i
  20. I use a Harris Ultralight, Great bit of kit, And it really is Light, I haven't had it long, but Harris are well known for their quality.
  21. So it would seem that with all the improvements in pcp's and i agree, that for serious pest control, it would be the weapon of choice, (after a ferret ) it seems that most people prefer a Springer for sheer enjoyment of shooting. I know i do
