I don't hold much regards for the tendering process. In some cases. They "Have" to get the process rolling in order to seem fair. A formality of such. Although the decision has already made.
But hey. Your right. You have to be in it to win it.
When I was pellet testing for the rapid the gunshop tried the hard sell on these , With claims of being one of the best hunting pellets and that some old boys were flattening crows at ridiculous ranges.

Are the pins not tapered? Or centre splined?

Degreasing. Deburring. Cleaning and polishing.
Some members haven't done bad jobs polishing turds.

Cons. They use more air (if precharged). So you fill up more frequent.
Pros. More stopping power and a little further range. Safer (ish) to use around buildings or a situation where a rimmy would be a no no.
