I'd say a good few go there for the money that is there and the fact the weather is nice most of the time, that lady you were speaking to the other day is on a baking street now,come winter she'll be well sub zero and that's when it gets real hard on the streets in winter when it's cold and wet..

It's not wrong not to understand something mate and i don't know even where to start with a answer to the problem or reason to homelessness or drug addition, i just sort of been there and thought i'd just share some self knowledge of the subject rather than try to adjust folks thinking of the subject.

That is true,but once there it's hard to get started and many folk are stuck as it's easier to just stay in the status quo as such without outside help and who helps street living junkies apart from a hand out now and again... When l iived in pembrokeshire there used to be a good few porpoises killed by dolphins every year and have seen a few that had been washed up and were bashed about. Some wildlife fella was picking some up one day and i went over and said i'd seen a few about and he told me what was happening to them.

Good fish that and in general we really only catch them this side of the pond with baits, worms (sea worms not night crawlers),peeler crab (crabs that are moulting their shells) and maybe sometimes small fish baits cut into slivers..I suppose due to them being smaller over here they don't really take lures and not met anyone who has caught one on lures as it goes..

I shudder to think of how many folk were prescribed a drug so it can help them only for that drug to ruin a life instead of helping it, but well done on hanging it out and sorting it as it's so much easier as yo know just to pop another one and just carry on with life as not many folk have the time to be able to take the time off from life you need to sort yourself out.. With you every step of the way DC and it guts me when i see folk on the streets and pretty much in a place i was once,i'm so glad i did have friends who gave me a place to stay and support through the rough time of finall

I get it but no one chooses to be totaly homeless with a habit, only mates you have are other homeless addicts and you own nothing. Doing a rattle or cold turkey needs a partly furnished room to do it in as there's times when you might shit yourself or spend many nights climbing the walls aching like you have never ached before,sweating and stinking and all being done inside a grotty sleeping bag under a bridge or in a back door way. Been there and it's shit, shit like beyond wanting to wake up tomorrow but knowing you can't die because then your kids will always have a down and out junkie dad and your parent will have to bury you with the shame of it being their child no matter how old you are, that was 25 years ago and i'm fecking blessed to have survived it and be where i am today, forgiven and much loved. Big up to those who do stop and chat and believe me it can make a difference as there's not a lot to live for when your on your arse and a thank you from those who maybe cannot say what it means..

Going to sound a bit harsh here but you hopfully will understand, but no one makes someone take enough to od as that is down to the user and sometimes we sailed close to the wind and some sail that bit to close. I myself don't have enough fingers and toes to count the amount of pals and friends i have lost to od's and general miss use of drugs and booze and have brought round more than i ever should have folk who have od'd. That family member must have lived with guilt for years as just being there when someone dies is a headfuck in itself,but maybe scoring with the fella or as you say being c
