Just want to air a personal opinion (that I know is also shared by others) about the use of the private messaging facility in the chat room. Whilst i know that certain things DO need to be PM'd, like phone numbers, e-mail addy's. filth....sorry personal information etc.,it seems to me that people are using the facility more and more for the purpose of general chit-chat that could just as easily be put up in open chat. Surely the idea of a chat room is exactly that........... FOR CHAT.......so others can join in and have a bit of a laugh and banter. Some nights in chat there are 15-20 membe

If when you gently pull the noose closed.........it relaxes and slides open again it would be legal........if the noose remains closed then it would be illegal.......IE Locking. If you close the double holes close together with a pair of pliers this would in effect create a single eyelet that would not lock. If on the other hand you opened the two holes further apart this would create a self-locking snare which as stated is illegal. The snare can be either depending on the modifications. Rolfe.

Wow........the boys have got on really well...........they look to be really sturdy and well built........the dogs should be snug and warm in those........! But i bet they wouldn't have got so much done if you weren't supplying them with endless cups of tea, butties and moral support.......! Well done to you all..........! Thats the swimming pool idea out of the window then Trace........how about a hot-tub ? Rolfe.

If they aint got fleas then don't use anything at all......that would be my advice.

Do they actually HAVE fleas..........or is it just a precautionary measure. The reason i ask is... i only ever treat mine if i find fleas on them........and then a very light dusting of puppy flea powder soon clears them up........more cost effective too.

As DEL said that is correct............BUT.........it's a bit indistinct in the picture but if that is a self-locking snare as it appears then these are illegal. The wire should run through ONE hole only in the eyelet to become a free running snare. Just check it out before using it as we need to be seen to be keeping our house in order at all times especially where snaring is concerned. Rolfe.

Cut yourself some from hazel mate..........cheaper and easier than buying some in if your in need of some quick.

Providing you freeze the rabbits for 3-4 weeks before feeding the dogs raw rabbit i am reliably informed this kills all tapeworm eggs.........but i always cut out the cysts to be on the safe side.

Lovely to see well handled kits Tracey.........yes it is spelt right .......Getting the dogs used to them is one major hurdle to overcome..........but once they have a mutual trust they will be fine. Rolfe.

Makes you laugh don't it Lass...........my lot won't go out for a p*ss in the garden if it's raining.........but take them out over the fields and they look like drowned rats and love it.........great pictures anyway.

I have just done a quick search to no avail, is their a regulation to tunnel trap entrance length -------------------- The traps must be used in artificial or natural tunnels (if in a natural tunnel within the overhang of the hole). There is no actual mention as far as i am aware of any minimum tunnel size........although common sense would or should see to it that the tunnels were big enough to ensure non-target species were denied access. Rolfe.
