Bred a couple of hobs this year and there massive wasent expecting them to be so big as there mother is tiny and a brilliant worker father wasent that big either gave 1 away and lad has worked him haven't tried the 1 I kept yet for all the reasons mentioned above I only work Jill's so don't no why a kept him really but I will give him a bash my local perm was practically wiped out with mixy picked up a bit and it came back its still about cold weather hasent killed it off practically all rabbits gone.

They always have a good scrap till they sort who's the gaffer I have 6 in the big court now it took them about a week of fighting till they sorted there selves out now perfect harmony.

A fawn whippet called nip paid £5 for her from a block of high rise flats ( 12th ) floor when she was 6 weeks old had her till she was 13 years old that little bitch done every thing from ratting to lamping excellent ferreting bitch was also a great companion on them dark nights when you shouldn't be were you are and your hideing in a ditch till the keeper gave up looking for you she would lie silent and never move a great working animal but also a great friend still missed after all the years.

Had a dog years ago same thing wagging tail and catching it in the kennel tried all sorts socks, pipe, golf ball in sock, she ended up getting half her tail chopped off but it never effected her running used to be blood all over when she wagged her tail.

Ferreted plenty warrens next to badger sets and fox sets and never had a problem.

Love a couple of hours out with just the dog and a ferret you can't beat it not about numbers just watching the ferret bolting bunnies for the dog. -

My collie x hunts up all day and catches her fair share not frightened to get in the rough stuff either and get them out she's in there before the beddys half the time great to watch her grafting by her self.

Basket arrived it's the dogs bolxxxs much lighter than my other one put my nets in it tonite hopefully give it a run out tomorrow .

Ordered new long net basket off nelson getting delivered today field test tomorrow if it's anything like the rest of his gear it will be first class.

Spot on them sets look spot on in the open beets crawling under hawthorn and brambles like all my perms.

Same problem just got some new perm. But farmer won't entertain dogs he's sick to the back teeth of idiots braying around his fields on a night in 4x4s lamping sadly we all get tarred with the same brush.
