Yep just a lump of chuck , I had visitors for lunch so lit it at 8am hoped to get oxtail failing that short ribs and try and do it in 5 hrs , anyway Delmonico was all that was available , I ran it about 275 so tad hotter . Not heard of feather blade is that off the ribeye? I'll be searching oxtail next smoke and then do a stew burnt end type thing maybe....

I did a successful Delmonico , like a quick brisket , had it with mash and tender stem. Was good no pics lol, used foil after two hours to speed it up , rested for 40 mins.
  4. Emily the criminal, netflix , decent.
  5. Says something though that a few lurcher lads can't chip in on a syndicate lol. I've always struggled (since I've had an interest in lurchers) with permission ,other than when I was abroad which was ideal had I had more time there. I've sold my thermal and lamps, my bitch is getting on now at 8 , much loved family dog that comes with us on holidays and hikes..but it's not worth the trouble to me now, as well as prioritising my family with the little spare time I have I like a bit of fishing which doesn't require fitness regimes etc lol. I've enjoyed some good company , places and experiences w

Well I've left it a bit late again, had a run around trying to buy charcoal. Anyway got these on for later spatchcocked, one drowned in hot sauce by the wife and the other I've seasoned for kids..
  7. God forbid they build 'new build' sewage plants on brown field or ex army sites etc, no because its easier and cheaper to expand. If they had all these 100s of millions ready to expand they could've have at least fixed leaks replaced current infrastructure or built reservoirs or monitoring river systems of something. Let's face it if you were able to freeze funds on all investors assets I feel they would be able to overcome all of these issues they face...
  8. Sewage in rivers and sea lays firmly at water companies door, I don't know what you're defending the indefensible for, they been under investing and raping it from day one of privatisation and now it'll be renationalised ie paid for by taxpayers and then sold at a loss to investors to repeat the process...
  9. Done another fast , 84hrs, fryup Friday, probably not the best way to break fast but hot tasty food required with all this shite weather hopefully a few pounds gone , do some walking the weekend..
  10. Yep storms battering windows most of night , I'm knackered. But Friday has landed....
  11. Humza , the new hate crime laws. 3000 reports for the police many of them for the man himself while he was slating white people and how there's too many of them....in Britain...
  12. I've got zero interest in football. My boys love it. Missus takes them to tournaments and what knot. I played as a kid but grew out of it ...lol I was more interested in guns , treehouses , beating and fishing.
  13. Yep I did same for aug/ sept , been demoralising, be nice to have some sun to look forward to instead of bills lol..
  14. Big pit is definitely worth a visit , I used to live nearby. There used to be two different tours the modern large mine and a rickety small one. As with all Welsh museums, its free entry..
  15. Well the same can be said about lots of food process sites, most can't handle what's produced and owners/shareholders don't want to spend on expanding, effluent always seems to be last on the list , they'd rather pay petty fines and increase production....a cheese place I've worked, for example can't handle their own effluent, constantly brimming bunds and local farmers paid handsome to remove it, probably getting dumped on fields, Italian owners I believe. Same can probably be said for half the food process companies in the UK , they've put the death of the Wye ruver down to the chicken proce
  16. I read that at while back , I feel like the odds are against me surviving the journey, just waiting to be that first fatality....
  17. Cheers , we're in Devon , but everything I read mentions firecrest has a bold white patch above eye,and a snazzy black stripe through the eye, which these do not, so I'm still going with gold crest
  18. I just got reeled in by a news feed about Sadiq khan tfl renaming all underground stations.... Until i got to the dark, dark line and clicked that it's April fools...I hope https://www.mylondon.news/news/transport/every-london-underground-line-renamed-28917729
  19. I heard they'd already been arrested when they flm video of complaints with other coppers, Scottish first minister is the one to worry about bringing it anti freedom of speech laws,
  20. I've got one , they're a money pit , if you find a good example with low mileage and full service history then probably a good shout trawl through a few FB groups and you get a feel of what's involved. Mine has had extensive servicing done by a mate, all the fluids , gearbox flush, they eat tyres, I'm doing about 25mpg I spoke to him Friday about chucking a new steering pump on it and flogging it. I like it , it's big and fun, but I can't justify sticking £100 in it every week, his disco just cost £700 in tax , check XC90 models and years as some are £500 tax.
  21. Ireland, dealing with roma https://youtu.be/w1AmUMPxMe4?
  22. I think we decided on gold crest , in my mum's garden in her new little place, my missus put a one way film on windows so they do come very close up...
