Try and find some decent historical fiction , you'd be surprised how many facts you can gather from a story book....
  2. The more people I speak to the more aren't going to vote, I'd originally thought I'd vote UK reform but not sure they even represent much of the area I'm in. I've had enough of Tories had plenty of time and opportunity, labour is a waste of time and starmer still in cahoots with Blair mandelson etc. I've completely lost all faith in the British political system
  3. Fired the Weber up last weekend, for the first time in a couple of years, 32oz steak....
  4. It'll be like the hokey pokey until then....
  5. If it was more valuable the numbers would dramatically decrease
  6. I don't doubt the odd one might have escaped and maybe the odd one shot and buried , but most who see them believe in their existence prior to seeing one, same with UFOs being spotted after they appeared in comic books , the thing is the brain is what creates your vision , all images are transferred to the back of the brain, interpreted and then delivered back to the brain as most likely , so if your seeing ghosts big cats or even an empty field generally that's the story your brain has decided to write.
  7. I think it was the best heavyweight fight I've seen in my lifetime , they brought their a game , although usyk was robbed of a KO and fury maybe shouldn't have played the fool it was great entertainment and the better man won . It had it all , hopefully the rematch if there is one is short and sharp for both their sakes.
  8. I know of two people who've snapped tendons whilst taking statins , as said do all you can regards diet and exercise beforehand...
  9. Quite a lot I think, there's a bigun down the road from where I'm working near Lampeter, docklow in Hereford used to have some , not something I've ever wanted to catch myself but plenty in UK waters, think there's a few programs on catching UK catfish too.
  10. Sums my mate up went with his missus , in a t-shirt with a cooler bag , survived to the top freezing wind and rain got to train which was fully booked and last scheduled, made it back down and didnt move from accommodation for two days lol
  11. My nan had a guy knock her door in Southampton asking if she'd like to invest in a company called smiths crisps....she didn't unfortunately lol

    Graham King

Truth is simply our previous and current governments have decided to allow an unprecedented invasion of the UK , blatantly deliberate. If we bordered Poland not France and Ireland we wouldn't have a problem lol
  13. How is usyk gonna win on points with Fury's reach?

    BBQ Smoker

Got a brisket on this morning at 7am, hopefully ready in time for dinner. Basic rub of salt pepper paprika onion garlic and coriander....
  15. I think fury will win, lots of hugging and holding off the smaller man , I'd like to see usyk win just to see the back of the fury circus , don't think a draw will be on the cards. Is there a contracted rematch probably , then another year of nonsense....

    BBQ Smoker

I use wood wool , they have wax in them . Can get them cheap in bulk online. I light them with a map gas torch. Just poke four or five in to the top of charcoal let it catch with vents open lid open and no grill then once going place in grill ,heat deflector and shut the lid. I normally let it come up to 200f and then close the vents down I like to put low and slow meats on at about 250, if I'm doing wings or thighs/steaks I'll probably let it come up to 300f

  18. Oh lordy , that's gonna last him years , every family get-together, every time someone mentions beach, kayak, fishing .....
  19. https://youtu.be/2fbL9qvoe4k?feature=shared I'm not sure environmental issues are at the top of their agenda...
  20. Not my game but tidy motor up a bit before I try and flog it...
  21. I listened to radio 4 again on my trek home, lots of different people from all over, quite interesting. Life long Tories who won't vote in election, staunch labour lady who says labour isn't socialist enough and won't vote, posh bird pleading for sunak his amazing leadership and how he's fixing the economy and how well he's done with northern Ireland. Others who planned to vote reform but because the candidates lack political experience will stick to Tory, others will vote lab Tory if they feel MP is decent, others wanting labour to change stance on Gaza to regain lost Muslim votes, lots will
