Nah I thought after I commented , has a saluki eye but looks stronger than most salukis less of a skip diver, but not a square as a grey ?
-
Not tried it , it looks familiar, how much? and would it be a special occasions whisky ? I like most smooth ones, can't do anything peaty or overly harsh or citrus , prefer caramel mellow.

Sacrilege... No water no ice...slightly warm. If I can't drink it like that I'd sooner stick a coke or ginger ale in it.....

TYP--O RABBI .... RABBIT. My mum sent me it ffs....

Yep I suffered a jamesons a few weeks back , once you find a really smooth whisky the rest are like moonshine gone wrong. There's quite a few affordable ones like the co-op 12 I just supped, glen moray is okay for the money, but I'd say co-op is winning for a £20 bottle...the only whisky I'd prefer is an aberlour tbh...
-
It's smooth, mellow, didn't smell great but that doesn't matter, the box says exotic citrus , a little maybe , I'd say it's better than Glenfiddich 12 , very good , highly recommended.

What's the rum barrel add? Is it sweet or peaty or what?

Think I'll watch sicario again , if anyone has prime then parasite is a good film...
-
I've not opened it tbh...now I'll have to do a bloody taste test, the stuff I do for lads on here knows no bounds...

Smart animal , looks like it's taken to the grey, ?

It's was around twenty quid as I was going to get glen moray and thought aha...

I watched heat again the other evening, good film. I like a few of that genre don't know if it's the fog of willing on the bad guys and then reminding myself they're scum bags or envying their freedoms and living outside society. But Carlito , heat, goodfellas all have that appeal . Not many genres can hold their own in modern times , I'm no fan of war or horror , I like a good cowboy or historical drama , but hard to beat a good crime caper , the devil in us all....

That's incredible, looks like by eight in the evening the house had about filled up with gas, it has to be above and below a certain point. A friend of mine said as a youngster he'd been sent out to a suspected gas leak did some test for this old dear and it was below a danger point and he couldn't find any obvious leak. 3am another call got there and old dear had a gas fire on full blast and the gas content in house was too high to ignite , so it had gone through the blow up stage with out blowing up, he discovered the boiler had been serviced or part replaced and it had been over tightened a

Well there's no shortage in Devon as the question I asked on FB has loads of replys and people following, other than all the PM's offering me a slice of daisy I feel I've done good in the world....hogget, lamb, beef , pork fill ya boots

I love white bait, that would've made the trip for me lol. Well done , hopefully many more to come ?

I've just dragged my fat arse across the dunes for four and a half hours, I'm a bit broken so having a wee dram or Glenfiddich, going to try a co-op 12 single malt some point this week....

I agree, most meals can be bulked out with spuds or rice pasta etc, I know from my own cooking journey learning basic sauces and having butter salt pepper to hand improves a meal no end. The health benefits of good meat are also proven , a good chicken contains far more good stuff than the mass production shite. We do eat too much as a family but it's always directed at the kids as we want them to get plenty and I'm a greedy carnivore, but as you've said we forgo the fancy cars and I phones. We also rent a very modest house atm. But it's what you prioritise in life I guess, for us it's food an

Plenty of clouds and rain here atm, a bit of mist about though, which is worse than the moon I think lol.

I've started seeing it in a lot of local trades , realised that skilled guys might not work for Lidl money and that there's a skill shortage , good to see if a decade late for a lot of industry. If any agency contacts me I tell them the rate I'd be prepared to work for , even if it's a job I'd never take, I'm currently out of work this week but back to it next week, I could've filled it but I feel by accepting less I'm just devaluing myself so if you're contacted again that's your expected rate, it's taken a few years to be confident enough to negotiate and turn down work and have the balls to -
Yes definitely money, even if you find good value you have to buy a box full of meat which isn't affordable for a lot of folk, if you're on the bread line then obviously you go for cheap stuff, but I think exploring high quality meat should be encouraged , even as you say you look for cheap cuts from the butcher, maybe neck of lamb or some beef skirt, or some of the offal, god forbid lol. I like liver but I could happily leave kidney or tripe or any of that, love black pud mind and apparently there's a pig's head in my freezer but I think the dog will be getting that tbh lol. People could go b

Okay so I put a post up on small holder group and have been messaged by a few offering meat boxes of local grass fed /beef/lamb etc I dare say a few will be out of price range but its easy enough....

Yep been using a mates which isn't great at distance tbh and I find the pistol grip is a ball ache for getting it in a pocket. But for ease of use and something to have in my pocket on an evening walk it should fit the bill ? I know there's a lot of guys going back to the halogens and where it's practical I think they're better.
