  1. Social and economic are related it's very easy to find the negatives. Solutions not problems springs to mind. Some folk only want to spread negativity and hate, I just thought one positive topic out of hundreds might be okay lol. Mental health is a big issue atm and I feel we can all get caught up in the news and lunacy of it all, when there's actually lots of good stuff going on , but most folk it seems would rather fester in demoralising negativity....soon be Christmas...
  2. There is plenty of good Brexit news, we're just ignoring it INEWS.CO.UK It is difficult to believe something is good or going well when everyone around you tells you it’s not; when you...
  3. Good news for the northern lads, the great Northern forest is getting closer to fruition, 50 m trees https://www.positive.news/society/the-plan-to-create-a-50-million-tree-forest-in-northern-england/
  4. Thought we could post some positive British news, see it we can make a page lol. Anyway heard today ford are going to invest £230m in Liverpool securing 500 jobs and making electric car parts.... Ford declares £230m investment for Halewood factory https://www.thisismoney.co.uk/money/markets/article-10102685/Ford-declares-230m-investment-Halewood-factory.html?ito=native_share_article-top
  5. Doesn't look how I'd have imagined, nice looking dog, made me smile he looks happy and daft as a brush. glad you're pleased always nice to have a dog you get on with ?
  6. A story I was told by an old boy when I was a young kid was of an old woman on some sort of sorting line and if a rat came down the shoot she'd grab it and bite it's neck , who knows .... I've took them off the dog alive with gloves on that's as intimate as I'd care to get with a rat tbh...

  9. I worked on a site with a guy that apparently got sacked from another site for making lewd remarks to a female engineer , he then looked her up on FB and found pictures she didn't know we're public then waved it in her face , sacked on the spot and very odd behaviour. I think he used to snort coke out of his top overall pocket whilst on the job, but I might be mixing up two different Wally's....
  10. Blimey haha, great stuff well done. Mine will eat little ones and retrieve bigger ones half alive bloody thing lol.

If GDP could be increased by inviting 3m Hong Kong residents would that be a good idea in the interests of our country?

I'm self employed so no business, or employees, but I'd like to think I pay a fair amount of tax etc, for me GDP and business should be separated from immigration policy and being ruled by Brussels and banks...but we all have our own views....

Without migrants there might not be the factories...it's a win for management and maybe maintenance fitters etc but rather than making soup it would be better if they were making aircraft or technology...you patronising half wit ?

Same bank of England that said even a vote on Brexit would destroy us all, f**k them , we have a country full of meat processing and other industries built mostly around foreign labour, it's obviously not going to continue growing now and I imagine much of it will go to Poland etc, we have to transform our country, support workable British models and train for shortages, it's all been left a bit late but we'll get there eventually.....

I've mates who are boners and get a grand a week and have done for last fifteen years it's normally Irish, New Zealand etc as for seasonal fruit that's another thing altogether I don't know what the craic is with that tbh. Lorry drivers have issues with a lack of support network for showers safe parking etc and immigration has forced wages down in all sectors for decades...another point I made to a remainer friend was why should all these people have to leave their country of origin, some leaving villages devoid of men, skill shortages, no male role models or children left with grandparents fo
  18. Yeah didn't even think of that, spot on the Thames in Windsor had claimed quite a few drinkers over the years...

That's because conditions are shite and money has been poor and the industries mentioned have done absolutely nothing to change/train/etc their only plan was to hold the country to ransom and demand more visas, pathetic imho.

I'd dial 111 and ask the question and also dip my finger in some form of painful bleach/hibiscrub just for placebo if nothing else, ? hope your good any symptoms of cold or flu straight to hospital as Weil's can shut your internal organs down ?
  25. I live by that a little but know myself too lol. I'd have a couple and enjoy it, then get the bottle out and devour it without appreciation. But yes I enjoy good food and drink....
