That's the thing it's a few individuals making these decisions and common people will suffer for it as with all wars, I remember my father saying the media reported the sinking of an Argentine vessel with 900 lads on it with great glee, but it's someone's sons at the end of it. A lot of the Russians look young and unaware of their situation, that I've seen on media.. it's a bad do for all involved, hopefully there is a de escalation of the current situation....

Some of these oligarchs could have all yachts houses football clubs taken away it wouldn't matter a jot they've billions , a few Ukrainian too all made from the USSR collapse, I'm all for a bit of leveling up when it's at that level. There talk any funds seized will go to the russian people once there is a regime change the west can work with....

I guess one question is where does it come from, was it his ego his relationship with jinping , 22 years in power allowed away with so much , hacking everyone , chemical bombing Syrians with no comebacks , killing UK civilians on UK soil , no drama. Because the Israelis are our security in the middle East, Yemeni are besieged by Saudis, a western ally , Africa is besieged by its own. They've had multiple opportunity to sort their own issues . The majority have turned to China , in areas I've visited they still don't advise protected sex only monogamy . Catholic church has killed more Africans than most....

I have honestly never known opinions differentiate between people to the extent of today...recent events be it brexit or other have cost me friendships, my expectations of people have been shattered of late. Listening to people supporting Putin on here after he used chemical weapons in Syria, murdered people on British soil, is killing civilians in Ukraine . Go live in China or Russia, ye brave folk who preach from a free western democracy....

They're blatantly standing ground , many non military are waiting to be called up as first thought is defense with trained personnel, women will be fighting , lots of people will be dealing with water and food. They're entrenching in forest and field , they'll be busy with chainsaws and diggers. I personally think they're immensely brave . Only one city taken in eight days. Why does the human mind crave conspiracy, I've found myself sucked into questioning everything, being swayed by ideas of various conspiracies. There's an element of mistrust in society, but there's also a huge need for humans to have answers , possibly how religion took such a foothold, we also need to see patterns and when we can't we might create them. I believe sometimes the obvious answers are the right ones , moon landings, JFK, anyways it's a topic to disprove conspiracy being part of the human make up, do conspiracy enthusiasts actually try and disprove their theories......as a scientis

Why not keep the money and still go full tilt against Russia? In fact why not go big grab on all russian assets and finances? Seeing that interference with a countries finances is reason to go to war anyway?

Fair one, I think living in the EU and having extreme views on race and immigration might be hypocrisy, or supporting Russia having never been there or having a jab but crying conspiracy or whatever else , no offense but of many things I am I don't feel I'm naive , just because it doesn't contain new world order 5 g or the country is screwed etc....

Russia is about to destroy a country within Europe, killing women and children , in a war they could never win, so 200k of troops go in and try and hold a country of about 40 million armed to the teeth. It would be an endless war , Belarus is preparing to invade from the north. Hospitals , schools, orphanages destroyed. My belief is this is solely at Putin's door. How's China in Afghanistan? Iran was at it long before trump came along, I'm not saying USA hasn't meddled plenty, what is the China Iran relationship about , just oil? Surely sanctions prevent that?
