  1. When I was into shooting and killing squirrels pretty much every day it was mostly an over and under 12 with a .410 adapter for first shot, alongside using airguns, .410s , ferrets, fenn mk4s , cage traps and a squirrel dog, aka terrier lol. Good sport but you have to be fairly determined to reduce numbers to the point of emptying an area.
  2. I chipped in on a mates investment, about £500, worth about a tenner now? he had a fair stock of different ones and decided to move some of the eggs into one basket if he'd left it as was would've had £270,000 , gutted, if our one does take off we'll all be millionaires ??

I agree Hollywood promotes violence more than any other media outlet. Bet they'd all jump at a Tarantino part, or anything Netflix threw at them....
  4. Yep I'm 44 , smoke, drink, and eat good but I don't moderate fats or meat. As I get older weights just prickle elbow/shoulder/knees, used to try all sorts MMA, climbing , sea swimming, rowing. Life is more sedentary with kids and often 12 hour shift , often work away with pub being base camp. Been a few years since I've joined a gym/pool working away. But getting out with dogs moderating booze and shite food and kicking a ball about with kids etc as you say bar is pretty low I should be able to step over it. Anyway dear Deidre...I'll leave it there. Lol
  5. I agree I'd rather watch the calzages and Benn , eubank etc..
  6. In Wales saw some hawthorn with more berries than I've seen before...
  7. Nice hound, how's he bred?...
  8. I'm only kidding see you're a buff adventurer, I'm 40 waist fatty, but on a bit of a mission to get fitter even if I don't lose much 6'3" tad under twenty stone , when I've been fit in the past been 36" waist and 15-17 stone. And I'm not talking marathon fit but walk all day on hills fit. It's hard work one finding time and obviously motivation. All good though and I've been getting out a fair bit the last fortnight..
  9. I'm trying a pair of these , they're £95 and the black ones are on sale at £66 so I'll have a punt on them.? And they do sizes above 36 unlike Born's midget climber getup ?

  13. Good skills, something I've not tried, ?
  14. I've just been out to get kids some new winter duvets, so dogs have a nice duvet and cover each sat on top of sofa cushions in kennels. I need to sort some draft excluders, deciding whether to buy a roll or pvc or get them ready made...also going to get a green tarp or something to cable tie to exposed side of kennel to stop rain blowing in, any suggestions?
  15. Well Andrew Neil already pulled out of GB news as said it was going the way of fox , who knows , trump will undoubtedly come out with some utterly insane nonsense ....
  16. Yeah mine said same almost taunting me, I fell for it....?
  17. Had my bitch out in minis ten abroad, all toasty. But when you and wind and rain it can get down to the bones, bit different if they're moving and having the odd run...
  18. Got out again today with Arry, chuffed I got myself a nice blackthorn thumb stick, although it was described as a dogs hind leg , bit of jealousy I reckon. Had a bumper haul of mushroom, horse , bollete , Chanterelles and an oyster mushroom. Filled the basket and a carrier bag, could have filled them both again . Lovely weather, good company. ?
