  2. I'm on a boat for mackerel in the morning minus kids as they've swimming booked and another two hour blank might finish them lol after a dog swimming session first thing. If I have no joy I'm on the rocks from about 5pm
  3. Dover sole, garlic king prawn, mussel spaghetti and monkfish...

    Pet hates.

On that note , was kept awake the other night base reverberating through van, was raining I went out twice couldn't tell where it was coming from, 2 am it stopped. Saw security following night said I can have that again. Said they had multiple complaints, was a house outside of park so a one off apparently, I was envisioning dragging a static off its stand lol. But the gull one would've provided some joy...

    Pet hates.

Seagulls, especially on a caravan roof at 4 am....
  6. I had another little chuck earlier on this beach, no luck but was waylaid with rock pooling and body boarding, so I had a swim (fresh to say the least) and finished with a rattler....
  7. Think it's this Cornish rattler haha...
  8. Also they blanked last year on a two hour mackerel trip so a bit put off if I catch some then we'll have a trip.
  9. Did a few bucket of crab yesterday lol... More my skill set I think...
  10. Well done mate. Mackerel aren't in here atm. Had a go on my tod earlier...
  11. They inherited low inflation, low mortgage rates tied to low interest rates. 14k police, but an untold number of illegal and legal immigrants, countering all investment in NHS schools etc. Gave power to devolved government and allowed them to still make decisions on English matters, Paternity leave great if you can live on £150 a week. NHS direct is another desperate attempt to divert services and take heat off of a poorly managed underfunded NHS Record number of students that couldn't earn enough to repay debts. And left industries short where everyone did useless d

    TV licence

    I've long cancelled...
  13. Off on a little holiday soon, down Looe, hoping to get some lure fishing in of rocks etc. Ordered some weedless rubber lures and couple of Dexter wedges, advised by a work colleague, weedless are so kids can have a go no drama. Any pointers was just going to use a spinning rod...
  14. Same reason Eurostar can go faster in Europe , better tracks more investment in transport, not sure about tarmac more stone maybe , a lot of hot places have clay/concrete roads...
  15. Yep mine is silent , thankfully. I'm more tolerant with kids , I own two of them lol...
  16. I have to bite my tongue , missus is glad I don't use proper name on FB. I've berrated a few , at the moment it's the folks fighting for a skate park , when all the other little rural villages and towns have one... We have cricket , tennis courts , football pitch even a BMX track and a basketball thing. No where to walk a dog except on roads, and every bugger has bought one during lockdown so all media is either dead cat, dogshit or skatepark. Wankers
  17. Also in hot countries or countries that normally experience higher temps the working day fits around it, siesta or early start and finish, acclimatisation, in really hot spots the feel chilly in 25 degrees , the hardest I've seen are where you have highs of forty and lows of minus 20.
  18. Also cats everywhere here , neighbour lost one yesterday, blamed a neighbour for shutting it in garage on social media... If I had a cat shitting in my garden it would be gone too. Unlikely as the dog don't like them either. Just irresponsible pet ownership imo. Every week they get run over in the village 100 people slating car drivers....mad
  19. Constant barking dogs can be frustrating, I got a neighbour who's dogs bark randomly , went quietly in my garage yesterday morning at 5 am off they went...not massive drama but you start to feel imprisoned in your own garden for fear of setting them off. I've a mate with elderly neighbour and they got two Russell's that yap all day long, I couldn't stick that for long . But people aggressive dogs in range of kids , they'd have to go swiftly
  20. Bloody warm at 6am , finishing early today had about three hours kip last night....
  21. Your spelling is bang on too, ? I'd say pay the money ken , he'll have the gear and fixings , wham bam. If you still enjoy doing it then make a batten frame twice and nail it to your timber and the rest will come ????
