  2. Looks a dangerous construction, working at height always has risks but more so off site. Sad do
  3. I can relate completely, my Hancock was super twat , and so were my dog skills , when you're used to different breeds it throws a curve ball and fucks your life up a bit ?, I love the bitch I got now , we've had a couple of emotional moments but I accept her faults are mine and we've a great bond. Less pressure on , I set the bar lower and she excelled my expectations. She's easy to live with, at seven is learning to play with other dogs without using teeth. It's a rewarding thing having her, great with family, great on lamp, alongside the bike. I wish I had more time to give her full potentia

  6. Well the break up may be inevitable... As you say from my point of view Britain will be in a better place, less bureaucracy, more self reliant , between covid and Putin the west will strengthen and Britain will play it's part in Europe no doubt , but also have it's self... A government that can hopefully be kept in check and deals that can be done efficiently and quickly. I'm happy , be happier still when fuel and energy comes down...
  7. Nope they got paid off, we're paying a load of wankers in London now and subsidising Welsh and Scottish devolved powers ....
  8. I've watched multiple videos of EU delegates/country reps openly mocking the UK, which is fine but hardly constructive , and tbh any doubts many had during voting for brexit were washed away by the post brexit behaviour from EU. I do think ni has been sidelined, and hopefully current events and financial recovery dealt with gfa will come back into the limelight.. I don't recognise the stats you put up, France's cost of living has sky rocketed, the UK's issue is fuel cost leading to massive inflation, all incomes will have to rise to meet this. Suella seems to have some good po
  9. Also in my industry, welding although it's very broad ranging , British contracts had to be put out to tender to all EU, mostly won by Italy or whomever and then if Britain actually won a contract in their own country they'd flood the job with cheap EU labour it was lose lose, than has been turned around by brexit... brilliant result...bring opportunity and skill back to UK
  10. I've seen it first hand, in Romania, investing or promotion of corruption, Germany stripping forest and lumber from Carpathians, huge super farms German owned , German factories for cheap labour, taking citizens to Germany (albeit volunterely) cheap labour. EU products flooding market killing off local businesses. Look what they did to Greece, beggars belief...
  11. I agree , I think Boris will write his memoirs, do the speech circuit and plan a return to politics down the road once brexit/economy/Ukraine levels out. But I think he's had his day...

  13. I felt immediately better knowing we weren't paying hundreds of meps and associates huge sums to toss it off in Brussels. Undemocratic and unchecked They're bemoaning Boris and his party gate but I'd like to have the inside info on Brussels parties, costs , expenses claimed, hotel and travel costs, hours worked, objectives achieved ? that have been going on for decades at our expense...
  14. Is Ireland in the UK now ? Lol. Well engineering , production, food and tech all booming since we've left EU. The Northern Ireland thing is a mess but brexit was extremely important to British people who saw the EU for what it is. Why should our future be less important than the good Friday agreement? If EU or Ireland had been less focused on belittling/punishing UK and scuppering our every step... Anyway we're where we're at , hopefully all the well paid diplomats can get things back on track, it's also the disagreements at stormont it's been failing to govern for years, f

  17. I was camping once with cubs as a kid, got trangia duty , cooking away lovely then it ran out of meths, so I topped up a red hot meth pot which exploded meths all over the food from Apple pie to stew, I wasn't flavour of the month, meths was....
  18. Who's the lemonade for?? ?
  19. Dog photo bombed me...
  20. I didn't quote you, but I disagree with both of you. It's of no consequence, I accept I may well be wrong but India is a billion with nukes, China probably trades big with them, Taiwan is a different story as well as all the islands appearing in the China sea etc
  21. I don't think any of this is relevant to modern China, their money, tech and capabilities have changed , just because Russia was an anti climax don't think China is cut from the same cloth...
