LDR and myself ran the two Hunting Life Lamping Competitions and I consider them a great success, but the abuse we got from people who either didn’t have a good enough dog to enter or were simply afraid to enter, left a sour taste in my mouth. So, I’ll pass; been there, done that and got the mental scars. Ive seen the nonsense that went on with MB and Miles, so , I wish you who do give it a go all the best, but I’ll just be an interested bystander, thanks. Cheers.

Trumps just told the world he hates the EU, and it’s personal; the Irish gave him planning permission to extend his resort in Ireland but the EU said it would take them SEVEN YEARS to allow it ! I think he holds a grudge ! LOL ! Cheers.

Home made compost in a raised onion bed. 140 onion sets just planted ; compost bins full of chicken, pheasant, duck, partridge carcasses , fish heads and bones, vegetable peelings, grass cuttings, egg shells , poultry guano, etc, and left for four or five years for the worms to do their work. I look forward to giving you periodic updates as to the progress of the onions ! Cheers.

As far as I can ascertain, if you enter this country without the correct visa or permission, be that by plane, in the back of a lorry or by small boat, you are illegal. I get huge bags of soil conditioner from my local council depot. It’s garden and parks waste that is heated to a high degree and is completely sterile. It has no nutritional value, but when added to raised beds, it make the soil more friable and promotes vigorous root growth . I love this site ! Where else could you start talking about Londonon coursing and end up talking about friable loam ? LOL ! Cheers.

Did Farage “milk” any more or less than all the other troughers in the EU ? Did he get more than “commissioners” like Mandelson, Patten, the Kinnocks and their sons wife ? In my mind, he did the job I wanted him to do in the EU and eventually got us out, unlike others who would have liked to stay in and keep “milking” it until they died. Hate him…. Jet fuel A is basically paraffin. Shouldn’t be as damaging as crude oil. Looks like most of it is burning off. Still not good though. Cheers.

Evidently an American military supply tanker loaded with AvGas. Travelling at about 16 knots, (20 mph) and hit the container ship, sitting at anchor, amidships. 30 seriously injured up to now. The conspiracy theorists will be going into overdrive! Cheers.
