    Humphries was bad the whole match. Littler started badly but got slightly better. Scotland got whitewashed by the Dutch . Hong kong beat the Swedes. Some surprise results ! Cheers.

    I just been gifted this shirt by a pal who runs the bars at the Premier League venues; I said to the missus “ I’m wearing it when I take you out for dinner tomorrow “.     Not now, I very rarely go to a pub. Haven’t picked up a set of darts in years, but still take a keen interest in, been to Premier League games in Newcastle and watch on telly whenever possible. Cheers.

    I feel your pain mate ! LOL ! Every trip I make involves fishing, hunting, dogs, etc, but the wife doesn’t mind. I travelled the world with her when she was a darts player, so I guess we are even ! LOL ! She does all the travelling now, and I’m content to stay at home, although I’m looking forward to my trip to Ireland in December. Cheers.

    I loved Texas. Managed to tick two things off my bucket list; visit the JFK assassination sites and see the Alamo. Started in Dallas, stayed in the Presidential Suite for one night at the Dallas Hylton then rented a rag top Mustang and drove to SanAntonio and stayed with friends. Also went out to Fredericksburg and stayed in a log cabin belonging to President Johnson , for a night. In San Antonio , the river side area is a good visit, take a boat down the river and there’s loads going on on the river banks. Met some hunters in a bar and they took me for a run with some staghounds,

    When I see something, ( not your post, by the way, I saw the funny side of it), that I think is incorrect, I can’t help myself, I have to reply with a rebuttal. It’s not arrogance, malice, me being a big head or showing off , or, as Mushroom would say “peacocking “, I just like to give my considered opinion. I don’t get upset when my protege contradicts something I’ve had a lifetime of experience in, I just take a deep breath and try to direct him in the right direction, it’s a good excercise in self control !     Now, Now ! I smile wistfully, like an exasperated father and wonder where I went wrong when I read some of his pronouncements, but he’s like a prodigal son, I can’t bring myself to be an angry with him. It’s a cross I’ll have to bear and hope he eventually grows out of it ! LOL ! Cheers.

I’ve a very wide selection of friends and acquaintances in the dog game and I don’t see lads who run the hills and mountains of Scotland rushing to add saluki . Not one of the Irish lads I know have any interest in adding saluki to the dogs they work. No one who runs big bucks in the rut would add saluki None of the lads running fox on a regular basis would either, I could go on, but

    I tried growing fennel but the fronds were great but absolutely no root bulb ! I’ve got ordinary mint, lemon mint and strawberry mint , not sure what to do with strawberry mint ! LOL ! Cheers.

    But then Obama and then Biden started removing sanctions from Iran and released billions of dollars of sanctioned funds back to Iran and then Iran resumed its nuclear weapons program. A nuclear armed Iran is a danger to the whole of the Middle East, even n the Arab, Muslim countries are against it. You may say a nuclear armed Israel is also a danger to the Middle East, but it’s a defensive, deterrent for the Israelis whereas a nuclear armed Iran is an offensive weapon aimed at the complete destruction of Israel.
