I doubt anyone knows exactly when the first APBT's were imported into the U.K., but my pal imported two in the very early 70's. He gifted a bitch pup to my brother and I, I wanted to breed lurchers from her, my brother wanted to breed pure bulls. Neither of us got our way as she was killed chasing a collie down the coast road in Newcastle ! In 72 I was offered the choice of a APBT x Grey and a Deer x Grey. I choose the deer x. So, APBT and their crosses were definitely around in the 70's. Cheers.

Yeah, he's playing a far better game than he did this morning. Hes a very good player, just inside the top 16, but I don't think he's ever won a televised major. oh, and he's as English as me ! ? ! Cheers.

Didn't recognise the name, but remember her from a few things including Gimmee, Gimmee, Gimmee. Cheers.

Some years back, my mates fiancé joined THL and put up some pics of herself and my mates dogs. She never mentioned her fiancé, but he posted pics of the same dogs. Anyhow, the games biggest bullshitter immediately started pestering the lass by p.m. We howled with laughter when he told her he was 30, he was actually mid 40's. He asked to meet up with her, but didn't mention he was married. We strung him along for a while, then let him in on it. His immediate reaction was to deny it, but when we quoted his PM's to him, he fell back on the bullshitters excuse; He sai

Wishfull thinking mate, but he will still outlive us two, I'd bet , and carry on his fantastically rich, pampered and privileged life not giving a f**k, instead of being found hung in a prison cell like his nonce pal....... Cheers

I've said before, I'm on the fence concerning the vaccine, but I couldn't care less if people have it or not, that's their choice. Im in tier five to be eligible for the vaccine, so it's a fair way off for me. Maybe I'll have had a lot more information on the pro's and con's by then, and I'll be able to make an informed decision wether I'll have it or not. Cheers.

I thought I'd seen something about anti vaccine demonstrations, so I googled "anti vaxx demos". Theres been plenty of them, from Edinburgh to London. Cheers.

Just a bit of tongue in cheek fun mate. Cheers.

The ginger snaps hate us because the yanks gave them two big 'uns in WW 2. The spring links hate us because of Hong Kong and the Opium wars. The wogs hate us because we owned India, then when we took all their jewels for the Crown Jewels and left, we left a shit storm that turned into India and Pakistan, who hate each other almost as much as they hate us. The Arabs hate us because we support Israel and divided their counties up, pinched their oil and killed their beloved dictators The four by twos hate every f****r, so no worries there. The Niggers hate us because of R

There's not a single thing in the shops that I need to queue up for at night.....or ever, really ? Cheers.

I'm a believer in "Occams Razor" theory; the simplest explanation is usually the correct one; Incompetence rather than conspiracy Cheers.

My grandson is stuck in saudi, so f**k Xmas, we will have it when we see him ? Cheers.

Those pine tree shaped air fresheners are very festive Cheers.

So, yesterday London wasn't as bad as Newcastle and was in tier 2, but today it's worse than Newcastle and bozo the clown has invented a new tier 4 for them ? Go figure, as the yanks say ! Cheers.

Xmas eve at the petrol station...... Cheers.

FFS ! Yesterday London was in tier two, now its in tier FOUR ! When the f**k did we get a tier FOUR ? Is Xmas cancelled again ? Im in Newcastle, are we still in tier THREE ? Have we still got the five day Xmas amnesty ? WHAT THE f**k IS GOING ON ? I was giving the politicians the benefit of the doubt, but I'm rapidly going sour on them ! Cheers.

O'Sullivan caused a bit of a stir not long back when he said he wouldn't do qualifying rounds against "mugs", and that included players in the 128-64 bracket, and a few in the 64-32 bracket ! He suggested a new snooker association with only the top 16 playing. Who knows ? It worked when the top 16 left the BDO to form what is now the PDC in darts. The standards improved and the prize money exploded ! So he may have had a point. Cheers.

Strangely enough, away from the table , "Interesting" Steve Davis is quite funny ! Cheers.

Some of the nick names are cringe worthy. "The Jester From Leicester " has to be the most inappropriate name for Selby. Maybe "Sour Faced Selby" would be more like it ! Cheers.

I haven't played for years but I've never made more than 50, and that was mainly on blues, against a mug, wouldn't have got near that playing a decent player ! Cheers.

Probably a hangover from the billiards days . When I was on a pool team, the young 'uns could never understand why I would try for a snooker rather than smash balls all over the place ! Cheers.

Yeah, it will never get back to that level of viewers, but, much like darts, since Hearns got involved, the viewing figures are at a high since those halcyon day. Again, much like darts, it's become far richer and more professional and moved on from a pub game. Im from the land of the working men's clubs, and every club had at least one snooker table and a team in the snooker league, now you're lucky to see a snooker table in a club or pub. I guess I'm in a minority on here, darts is my favourite sport, closely followed by snooker, with football a distant third. I enjoy dis

I agree with some of what you say about the first one "in" clearing up, but the first few frames last nigh was a great battle of safety play, what was once very unusual for O'Sullivan, but now his all round game has changed. He's less likely to take on an "iffy" pot, and more likely to play safe. Wether that has improved his game, I don't know. It's less exciting, but, to me, just as enjoyable. Im not sure what you mean about ratings. Before the lock down every venue was way over booked, and the tv ratings, I believe , are the highest since its heyday . Cheers.

I wouldn't say a hiding, though the score line looks that way. Trump was the better player, easily, but at this level, the world champ v the world number one, the first one to make a mistake is punished. Trump made one serious mistake and O'Sullivan punished him with a clearance. O''Sullivan made more mistakes and Trump punished him almost every time. Ive been interested in the comments about the break-off. At one time it was considered an advantage, now it's not when playing the top players. With their long potting skills, the break-off needs to be near perfect, and O'Sul

This is basically what he said when every one was laughing at the "step-daughter" nonsense; Cheers.
