Fireman it was a genuine question, the thread was about how did your season go? Fair enough your still digging Cubs ect but what sort of winter did you have? Did you have a lot of digs or did you struggle to find? Cubs are easy to find we all know that

Sentament don't come into it as like i say it's pest control and if i had said "no i don't bother this time of year" to the keeper then he'd have someone else in to do my terriers job ,it's a shoot and why would any keeper on this planet let a litter of foxes be on his ground as it takes a good few birds a day to rear a litter of fox cubs or is that a unkown fact to many?. How many digs did you have though the summer?

Glad it's going your way for a change jig, we had a terrible couple of years there but this season was bang on in regards to how the dogs went, none of them missed a beat for us and tbh we really needed it lol

I'd say most digging boys will have a couple of or at least one fit lad in there that you struggle to get out of the dig I know a lot of the time I can't get my buddy out but il always be about the sides working away leaving him to scoop out! When working in this way let me tell you even in hard ground 4ft should be a quick enough job after the terrier has had time to settle!

You don't have to be good at maths to understand the scenario, just know what is being discussed. For talks sake any man should be able to dig 4ft in good ground to get to a terrier in an hour. So in the same soil if there was 2 men digging 8ft! Does that mean it's going to be done in 2hrs? Lol A hour to dig 4ft in good ground??

Yes you's defo did play well something to be happy about. Typical Italian show though would have been happy with the 0-0 and not having to work too hard tbh and you could see that! Canal banks full of em, no rabbits about and always new holes being dug. Was a few ton of sand dumped on the Middle of our local playing fields, within a few weeks the foxes had made it into a massive earth with about 20 holes. Always a good few foxes standing on top of it at night

I like going out local for foxes doing the more urban spots. I know them all pretty well and dug them loads, would only do the ones I know I could manage easily enough and if needed could always phone for help. Would never think of going out a days digging on my own only out local!
