  1. 19:1/2 inch barrel with that stock would be the deluxe Phil. The export had a 22 inch barrel.
  2. I think it could to “persuade” if required ?
  3. What did you use for the hide Sam, pallets and tarpaulin?
  4. It will be interesting ?
  5. Those slugs are hard hitting for sure, like a subsonic rimfire bullet.
  6. Good shooting vm??
  7. Ok thanks. I don’t know which ones they use, but I was considering getting a Fenton titanium cylinder. Do they make any noticeable difference in overall weight?
  8. Is that a fenton cylinder fella?
  9. I don’t think the 12ft lbs .25’s work very well at that distance. I shoot mine at 20-25 yards.
  10. I think the best way is to short stroke them to make them feel at their best at 12ft lb. Obviously the size of the air cylinder’s bore and stroke means that in .22 they’re happier at 16-18ft lbs. I’d imagine that they’re easier to get it right in .177, but I’ve never shot a .177 hw80 so I don’t know for sure.
  11. I’ve got a sirocco and put some more pressure in using the slim jim pump that came with it. I thought I’ll just top it up a bit closer to 12, so I did, checked it on the chrono, eek?. Had to tap the valve and let some out.....
  12. Good result Ben. I’ve had the owl thing myself, tawny tried to land on my head coming in to squeaker, also got a face full of spar when I was in a high seat. Speaker again....had to literally fend it off with my forearm ?
  13. You are. Tony Blair? The opitome of arrogance. Just a used up has been. And labour....................
  14. Labour........?????????????????????
  15. As baldcoot says, different pellets could take it over. HW springers tend to like rws hobby in .22, if they’re below twelve with hobbies they’ll probably be below with others. That’s what I’ve found anyway.
  16. The .25’s go over easily. I stripped and polished my striker, added a small piston weight and when I put it back together it was shooting a lot nicer. Shot cycle was better as well. Put it over the chrono and.........oops, back on the bench. It’s running at about 11.8 now with marksman but it shot nicer before. Shame really, but that’s how it goes. It’s still much improved from as it was standard before it was tuned and polished. I think they’re designed to run at about twenty, and they’re detuned to run below twelve.
  17. No Tom, he used his own? sorry, couldn’t resist ?
  18. Is it .177 Skot? Mine is .22 and it was fairly nice out of the box. It’s v-Mach tuned now and shoots lovely. Super smooth with virtually no recoil. Good shooting ?
  19. I’ll keep an eye out for them. With the slugs it’s usually the other way around, .22 first and then .25 to come...............eventually. Anyway, I’m pleased for .25 shooters if they work well, plenty of choice already in .22 compared to .25.?? Scope appears to be decent as well, so all good......but not for the rabbits ?
