And I tried bring a pup on in em LEDs an he was running like a monkey soon as I changed to halogen there was a vast improvement

    I had a mike brown bred whippet and a vet told me exact same thing fox dropper just mentioned never bothered him he still ran rabbits well an only ever appeared after a hard night dog was spot on otherwise

    Iv got one of they wee Cree torches aswell and it's handy for dropping in your pocket my wee whippets have picked up bits an bobs on that torch but I think if we could get a led with the same colour of light as halogen then they would be spot on....... If anybody's bringing pups on this season I wouldn't start them on led i don't think a dog can see quarry properly in that light and the further away the worst it gets

    None mate both the blitz and the striker are spot on in fact that wee strikers my favourite lamp it's been bashed Tay buggery I fell into a ditch full of water and it was still going ...... That shitty led laying in the boot of my Mrs motor can't see it getting used again unless just popping out across local feilds that's about all there good for
