  1. If man ain't got the b@lls to say it face to face he not a man but a snake in the grass !! days running lurchers are sadly coming to an end .
  2. Up to fifty sheep q night was taken local to me ,the fella who was taken them was a shop keeper from brum and he was nicked with a young lad with van full of dead sheep . its lot of money ,stock to loose .
  3. Some coppers go out there way to make life hard for us as they haven't got f@ck all better to do ?" Like smack dealers and nonces to lock up so they give field men hard time , back in day it was Oakham police they proper c@nts and take you in for anything . i don't hide the fact I go out with my jooks and local they got better things to do than lock me up for s coney .but in some areas were lads have made it hot it's different story and I hear of lads loosing motors ,dogs and jail . If Corbin gets in we all going to b poachers anyway ,as he we ban all hunting with dogs full stop
  4. I still walk home with coney ,birds on game hanger local ,no one blinks a eye lid and if they did then f@ck um , If he only had rabbits they can do nothing !
  5. Well said ,my grandad always had a greyhound about his yard and I remember him traveling over to Ireland for good coursing stock back in late 70s my uncul also spent many yrs in Ireland as he married farmers daughter and they kept coursing hounds ,he still travels over there now each yr for meets ,he always telling me to move over there as it's different world .stupid ban etc ,and I can see Corbin banning all hunting with dogs no matter what the pest . atvb mooch
  6. I grew up on the rd ,we kids would always have a few jooks towing along and most days we helped fill the pot ,my first dog was a whippet at age of 11 That one of the Stanleys gave me ,we had some fun ,if I was looking for a pure sighthound it would have to b a whippet . atb
  7. I'm sure if he looking for a greyhound he will soon find one ,why a Spanish sight hound or saluki ? Are they better than our own greyhounds then ? we all no merits of saluki but are you trying to say Spanish galgo are a better choice than our own hounds , i see plenty of vids on line of these Spanish "greyhounds " running hare etc ,and yes they run hard ground but to say and think they are a better choice than our own greyhound is crazy . get a greyhound pup from good coursing parents or good track dogs ,it will do as much as any lurcher given the chance , we don't need to
  8. Folk who do this have no right calling themselves field men ,how many meals would that bag hares make ? Plenty homeless and old folks and folk using food banks would b grateful for fresh meat . shame on them .
  9. Go on line and most greyhound kennels will have few jooks looking for homes ,if you have a track near you just talk to trainers and you soon have one .. i see greyhound work as good as any jook over the yrs ,my brother had two and they both demon on fox and good pot fillers ,just got to give them a chance to get head around running live and not a mechanical hare . good luck
  10. That isn't what I ment ,if folk want to spend thousands on funeral that's up to them ,my family like yours going by your name are English travelers and I see lots of money go into funerals ,I told my kids when I go don't want a fuss and put my ashes with my nan ,I rather my kids grandkids get the money instead of funeral directors. atb mooch few greys in my family
  11. My young bedy grey ript one of her back claws off last week ,bled like a bi@ch but after I got good look nail was hanging on a thread so I clipped it back and bathed in salt water and shed fine now , just keep it clean and all will b ok mooch
  12. Good on him ,don't matter how much it cost for funeral we all go same place ,put me on heap and set it alight .
  13. As been said do what's best for you and yours ! my misses got sick two yr ago and it was give up my dogs or work and work had to go ,I looked at it like this , if I had lost my soul partner in life ,I would need something to keep my mind occupied and money not everything but my jooks always lift my spirits and they are not just workers but part of family . gave up work and yes it was a struggle but life always a struggle anyway . my misses getting better now and got all clear so I'm back working again ,and my first granddaughter born few days ago so life looking good again

  21. Management at work decided to get some one in to move pigeons as they crapping all over the place , they had air gun shooter in first and he shot one pigeon in a night at the cost of 700 , he had a touch I tell ya. they now have a fella with a male Harris hawk come in couple times a week to move them , he flys him heavy for some reason as he said he don't want him to kill pigeon but scare them lol he moves them out one door and they back in the other , if he flew him at hunting weight surely it be better as it would kill them and what's dead ain't coming back , work j
