I don't doubt you. but do we mean the text book dog that walks by your side while you run and set a couple of hundred yards of nets. then casts off & bants the fields while you stay and kill the nets.

I see your point but we have all fed fresh rabbits since Adam was a lad. never been a problem before & can't see it being a problem now.

got to agree with Neil you wouldn't freeze them in the wild. if feeding rabbits was killing ferrets then stoats would have been extinct years ago.
