  5. yes never a dull moment. I don't mean hitting things & getting injured. I think too much of them for that. I mean 100% tryer. mine will try at something other end of field. I get comments like dog's thick. I would much rather have a tryer than a thinker. but hey what does it matter.
  6. thanks for the comments ?I would much rather have a dog to up and at them. I like a headstrong dog with high prey drive. I find it's easier to work with & calm a dog down than having to gee a dog up. I do like a keen as mustard little dog.
  7. saw a lovely English bull terrier today. quite leggy & lean. I know fxxck all about bull crosses having always had beddy lurchers do you use ebt or Stafford for crossing. also what does bull bring apart from the obvious heart & drive? do they hunt up work cover & mark? I am genuinely interested. comments please.

  12. it's a valid point you make and it makes sense but explain this to me. local to me going back 15 years buzzards were unknown & badgers were seldom seen. not huge number of rabbits but decent. now loads of both & rabbits virtually extinct & no local hunters to speak of. answers on a postcard please ?
  13. Big rise in badger & buzzard & fox etc & big reduction in rabbit numbers it's not rocket science.
