A little side hustle I have is a pie cart to events. Just dropped off and set up at a wedding earlier, lovely place at farm that does barn weddings. Hope the young couple are pleased with it .

My dad has a narrowboat, he bought it as a saleaway. Where you just buy the hull and engine brand new then he fitted it out himself. He's ad it year's and reckons he made dollar on it. Been saying he'd like to do another, especially now retired and got a cracking private mooring.

Fancy a night round ere in that little car camper am doing, and a mooch at first light. Maybe put a few trail cams up. I went on google earth and found a park up for the night on top of Cleeve Hill that looks ok. I love getting out and about and noseying round different county’s.

I got the video of her doing it in the cell, wondered what it was till I seen it all over the news. Bet her mam and dad was real proud, especially doing it with two real gangsters real road men as well lol.

Good diet, up your protein and maybe trt. As I've hit the 50 mark, I find more rest days help to let the body rest and repair.

I got a cheapish wrist release which I like and seems ok. I also got a thumb release of Tumu and it's dangerous as it's a released on my slingbow a couple of times as I have drawn back, so gone in bin. Managed to get a half decent thumb release in a sale on a UK archery shop but to be honest I don't like it and can't get used to it. So for the time being just cracking on with my Amazon special wrist release.

Bit of practice at bottom of kennels. Got to say I prefer the triangle bow, am sure to a purist archer it would be a gimmick or china eBay junk for £140. But for my novice learning curve it shoots lovely and is accurate. I reckon in an apocalypse or hunting abroad situation this would take down some big food for the table and its small and compact to shoot from a hide or motor. I like it a lot .

I did a mk7 tranny into a camper a while ago and flogged it as I wasn’t getting use out of it. I always have a 3rd car a banger for putting dogs in and hunting and sh1t shifting ect. Recently got a new 1 a Citroen c4 bought of my mechanic mate. So I decided I still want on night away with dog ect. So ripped back seats out and laid a sleeping platform and window blinds. Work in progress -
After reading up on it, I fancy trying three fingers under and string walking for aiming. I don't fancy instinctive as I can't shoot any of my cattys like that and prefer a aiming point.

Cheers wolfie, I fancy one and trying to learn to shoot a recurve. I can't believe how accurate the compounds are in a relatively short learning period. That little triangle bow only had it a few days and getting great groupings with it, it's a joy to shoot compared to the slingbow and 10 times more accurate. I reckon a recurve a lot harder to learn ?? Maybe start with 40lb draw or less ? Cheers

Wolfie 3rd pic down is that a Black Hunter recurve bow ??

Mad Max Furiosa, was so so. Shame as I was looking forward to this, I give I a 4 out of 10. That's me Barry Norman saying goodnight

Yeah fancy a go at fetching , as I want to try and make quad vane arrows for the slingbow. As supposed fly better and the ones I ordered from states, customs wouldn't let them thru. So make my own it is. Is that a Black Hunter recurve ? They get great reviews for a budget recurve.
-
The hardest part was setting up/ tuning the bows. I had arrows going all over till I googled it and watched a load of YouTube vids on how to find your centre shot. Also changing the draw length was a faff, but sussed it. After that shooting seemed pretty easy. Fancy trying a recurve now, that seems a whole different ball game !

Yep deffo got me lol. 35 years of poaching with running dogs and now my happy place slinging arrows lol. Just in garden at 10 meters mate . Had a hell of a sh1t week in work with under staffed and massive orders . So that arf hour in garden with archery and slingbows chills me right out .
