  1. Since I derailed my compound bow and broke it, I’ve been concentrating on bare bow traditional archery with no sights. Started of string walking and wasn’t for me , tried split finger and settled on 3 under. I can consistently hit the target at 10 metres but I shoot left all the time. Tried swapping spines on arrows to no luck. The compounds are a lot lot easy and accurate compared to bare bow. It’s a rabbit hole I’ve gone down with this . But am trier and won’t give up !!!
  2. Deadpool wolverine, wasn't bad. Not as good as original, but not bad. That's me Barry Norman saying goodnight
  3. About 12 years ago I stopped paying mine. Still get odd letter through lol, just get filed in the log burner .
  4. A Quiet Place , Day one. Crap I switched of 3/4 way through and put YouTube on instead. That's me Barry Norman saying goodnight
  5. Enjoyed that wolfie cheers, I am trying out different spines too, between the slingbow and compound
  6. Just watched this, don’t know to put the link up
  7. These are cold steel polymer plastic ones. Compound shoots em fine and the slingbow does, but one goes off now and again. It’s a learning curve this lot, but enjoying the ride and de stress from work.
  8. These are just crap and the slingbow can’t even fire them in a straight line lol. And with the compound they shoot off centre, look the part but cheap crap.
  9. These 2 are by far the most accurate with the slingbow, and get consistent ish accuracy with them .
  10. Was just having a mess around with broadheads. They seem to alter the flight path some heads. The slingbow is very sensitive to them and it really alters my accuracy, we’re as the compound is more tolerant probably due to far greater speed and power I would imagine. And some of them wreck my foam target getting them out , but all good fun plinking. Must say these are all cheap Chinese broadheads apart from the cold steel poly plastic ones.
  11. Sorry Walt no , they all sold pretty quick. One lady bought 7 lol . Next week be donner kebab pies .
  12. In the Big Mac pies is a hefty base of burger mince with cheese on top then onion then Heinz burger relish and Heinz tomato sauce topped with gerkins then with a pastry lid before baking . In the spam cheesey beans , grated cheddar Heinz beans then the best tasting spam known to man !
  13. Up and at it !! Just finished Big Mac cheese burger pies and spam cheese and beans , are today’s specials !
  14. Cheers mate , I will take that one n board and give it a try . Thanks
  15. Had a bit of practice with slingbow before after work to chill out. Had a small drama last night and de railed my triangle compound bow ffs , so will have to get it fixed somewhere. But got some nice groups at 10 meters , obviously never going to be as accurate as a compound, but I reckon you could hunt with one abroad were legal .
  16. Not particularly but thanks for showing an interest and bid you a good day . Atb

    Prepping

I remember buying them as kid, used to love all those type of mags growing up. I would be down the fields with my webley Vulcan and sheaf knife trying to build dead fall traps and such things.
  18. I would of deffo put a little something in the end of its shoes........
  19. Wolfie you shoot of the shelf or with beaver fur on it ? Or a plastic or metal stick on rest ? Am trying both , but find the arrow stays on better with the plastic rest. But they just cheap ones off Amazon and only lasted 3 days.
  20. Bikeriders 2024 with Tom hardy 8/10 was decent Nearly put convert on as I like guy Pearce, will watch this next weekend That's me Barry Norman saying goodnight
  21. I've tried three under and shifting anchor points and can't hit fek all. Been starting at 10 meters and string walking seems to be the only way I can hit the target but I don't really like it, it feels strange moving down the string. I would much prefer split or 3 under.
