Bought a few cheap Chinese bows to play with only about £45 to £99 quid each . But pure bow porn to me . Made my own parra cord silencers and added Velcro strike plates and fast flight Flemish strings .

Hi my name is Leo and I’m an addict!! Properly got the archery addiction lol. Tried slingbows and compounds but fell in love with trad, that’s traditional shooting off a bare bow with no sights . Obviously bowhunting is illegal in uk . But I am hooked on the bow hunting YouTube channels and the rush of larger prey . Been enjoying the learning curve of how to shoot trad. Very similar plan myself. My dad has a narrowboat and rents bottom end of a farmers field about an hour's drive from his house.It's a plot with parking and running water in middle of nowhere. There is only 4 boats there including his, the other 3 are full time liveaboards and my dad's is just his hobby. He rents the plot and mooring for only £25 A week.

Must admit I like the FB groups. I joined a yank bow hunting group, i don’t post , just like reading the posts . It’s big game hunting with bows. There whitetail deer season has just started and enjoy the hunting trip reports of deer and boar and bears ect.

Yeah I agree. They look great as a catty, maybe not an everyday shooter. But just nice to have and take out now and again. Just need find someone who will do it now.

Cut a long story short got this sent me . A pheasant head carved out of buffalo horn. So going to send it off to a custom catapult maker to make me a gypsy strod catty hopefully [BANNED TEXT] this as the handle . I think it looks lovely and I’ve seen them finished and look mint as handles.

Can someone please put a link up for me off YouTube. It’s Cameron Hanes Once We Were Wolves. Great little documentary/film on hunting big game in Alaska. For anybody half interested in that type of thing . I enjoyed it. Thanks in advance if someone can, cheers .

There is a fella I always see in asda a customer. He is in his 50,s like me. He has the haircut , the tight pants , the shoes , the flowery shirt , parka the lot. He looks a right twit. Went out at first light for a mooch with mutt and catty. It was unreal, trees cracking and bending. I got hit with a few light twigs then a biggish branch twatted me round the head and shoulder, wind was unreal.

Funny enough on my way to Norfolk as I got there I stopped off at Swaffham Heath for a mooch at about 2pm. Got to the park up and was about 6 cars all with blokes in just sat there. Had a hours walk , seen 2 roe then when I got back to car . All of them still sat there in there cars, didn't look like any of them had dogs so we're not dog walkers , maybe sight see,ers in vans. Then my spidey sence started tingling with sqeal piggy sqeal ! I thought could be a fruit bumming spot. So got the he'll out of dodge and headed to my next spot to mooch lol. -

Then went to my usual spot and shot a woodie with catty on a horse field , it was on its back twitching. But I couldn’t get through the hawthorn hedge tin sheets and barbed wire to retrieve it. So I went up Past farm down canal and right round to try d get to other side of field . Found a gap in hedge crawled through but o just couldn’t find it so was gutted. Hate stuff like that . But still an enjoyable morning not in work. Still undecided on decking job lol.
