Agree with you. I've drove the land a few times on permission and enjoyed it tbh. But back in the 90,s we did a hell of a lot of slipping from the motor. Whilst lamping while stood on the back of a van with one door open as the van is moving , then [BANNED TEXT] u spot summit step off back ov van dog out over fence and game on. We did this mostly for big stuff. I preferred it as we could put more miles in and cover more ground even different county's in one night and rack up some massive miles. Don't get me wrong I loved it on foot. But for big edible stuff, roadsiding worked best for us and

All best with it Dan, fair play to you. My old man has a narrowboat, he has a house but spends most of the time on the boat. He rents part of a farmers field and it's about an hour away from his house. There is only 4 boats there, 3 live a boards permanently and my dad's. He has parking for 2 cars and running water to each boat and a decent little plot of land. It's in the middle of no were and he only pays £25 A week rent, it's ideal ! No muzzies no migrants , no annoying neighbours. Wakes up the the sound of the ducks. Plenty of wildlife. Must admit I think if I retire or tak

How does the tag system work and what's with public land , can anybody hunt it ? Over hear we have had a increase in general in deer numbers. With species spreading to county's were they have not been seen before . I love watching the bow hunting on YouTube for whitetails Turkey's elk ect. Sadly it's illegal over hear so 3d targets only. For me it looks like you guys over there live in a hunters paradise.

Have put this up before , my grandad was a ww2 spitfire pilot. Was 19 and trained in Canada before he went up. Got shot down and lived to tell the tale and went on to own a string of wine merchant's. Was some fella and some get up and go. I still have his dog tags and wings.

Tried it lol, got an onion cut into 4 and left next to bed . Then took 2 thick slices of onion and put 1 under each foot and cling filmed then put my sock over and went to bed. Just got up for work and do fell a lot better ! Pure coincidence, placebo effect , or after 4 days of being ruff naturally coming out. Who knows , but it didn't do any harm. Deffo firing on 4 cylinders this morning after being bad for 4 days ! Have a good trip in London Mr & Mrs Bush

Not sure which model , but it’s a Fenix. Throws a good beam up to 20 yards . Been out 3 times and just not seeing the woodies roosting in this spot like they was past couple of seasons . Mite look at the olight as I think this is on its way out. -

Full of flu and only av Sundays off work so didn’t want to waste it. So went for an hour in dark with head torch on. Didn’t see any woodies . But shot a Maggie that fell in cover and my head torch packed in , I think battery is knackered. Love getting out with the head torch and catty before dawn and the dog walking brigade get out. -
Blast from the past ! I remember watching this and my mate did me a VHS copy of it in my early ish 20,s I remember another old poaching documentary , similar time. About a woman who lived up Scotland and poached deer with a rifle off the estates. My old lamping partner from Carlisle lived up Scotland for a while and actually met her, said she was ruff and ready. Can't for the life of me remember the name of it. I think she worked in a hotel up there if my memory serves me right.

Aye the little old dairy farmer I get milk and cream off for work is struggling. I could get it cheaper but i don't to support local small businesses . Also some of the other farmers who come in my buisness are starting to diversify. One is doing camping and opened a cafe were u can walk the dogs. Another is doing hog roast nights. Just trying there hardest to make some coin. Will have to see what the budget brings, but it won't be good I am sure.
