You already have a JSR...you suggested to me they were good value...I bought one....I agree.....so why not look at their range???
-
You cruel, inhumane, cold, callas, heartless murderer! You'll be telling me you blow up bunnies with your .243 next>>>>>>>

The SAK is Fine and the Zet Z is brilliant, just exactly what do you expect...you are not talking about a .22LR SUB Sonic! With regards ammo, what do you want to aim it at? CCI Maxi Mag is 40g and a TARGET round and should not be first choice for fox!

If you haven't worked it out already jarvey, lampingking, mikeb511, guevara, wingshooter and a few others.... ...do I need to say more....Just in case anyone is in any doubt look back over a few recent posts... I'm not going to get involved with THIS idiot any more, he needs medical help....

In the light of your recent posts below and obvious ignorance of firearms how exactly do you intend to buy a Tikka .223Lite...do you get a kick out of wasting a lot of very helpful peoples time who simply don't know you for the sad time waster you are, why don't you P**s Off to another site ...I hear Airgun BBS could do with some more idiots!!! hi ive recently applied for an FAC and am currently looking to buy my first rifle. im stuck between two cz rifles, the 452 american and the 452 varmint. any opinions on the differences between the two. also if you know of any other rifles in the

Go see a shrink..you have a serious problem!

Accuracy wise I would tend to agree that domed would be better than pointed, but like for like weight wise the range will not be effected...you wander into the area of ballistic coeficient and if the pointed are better by any chance then the range will increase, just so happens that on the whole the domed win again on this one! Penetraion from a 12ft lb will be better with pointed and at 45-50 yards I doubt if many will go right through, so it is likely all the energy will be imparted. Domed will tend to win overall though on this one, but 45-50yards with a 12ft lb is pushing your luck as

I think it has all been said....and if you are in any doubt, re-mortgage your house, buy a tin (plastic box) and find out for yourself what a waste of space these pellets are!!

I am fed up of people saying its easier to get a section 2 (shotgun) authorisation then section 1 authorisation!!....ITS FALSE.......if are turned down for a section 1 you will also be turned down for a section 2 as well, as you would have demostate that you are not danger to peace etc, a banned person from owning firearms, a mental or unfit to hold guns. The biggest difference with sc1 is you have to justify every firearm you want to use or buy, unlike shotguns. as long you can give a good reason and you pass the background check you will get a section 1! so if you already have a shot

A bit more...the ASE S5 which screws on the end of the gun protrudes 0.25inch (6mm) more than the Wildcat Predator 8, thats all. The ASE S5 is built like the proverbial Brick s**t house and I recon it will probably last an eternity, but it is not easy to strip! The Wildcat is almost completely strippable, for those who seem to have welded them together a little advice...a hint of vaseline or gun oil on all the threads, ideally when the unit is brand new and it will come apart easy, top up during cleaning as required... I have just changed from the ASE to the Wildcat after just over a

What is me38??? And, if apparently it was correct with the Brocockl, how did you get 715 ft sec with other stuff..did you oil the barrel in between?
-
There is nothing inherently wrong with the Hornet, problem is it is a dying calibre, ammo is hard to find and not cheap and it falls in the middle of a lot of things, generally about 400-700ft lb, NOT legal for any deer and too powerful for rabbit and hare. So, putting it bluntly..an expensive waste of time today!
-
Depends which .223...I have a Tikka T3 Lite and originally had an ASE S5 on the end, the mod was first class but the Tikka is SO LIGHT the balance of the gun was terrible, just changed it for a Predator 8...definately improved the balance but I might still get an inch or 2 cut off the barrel, the Tikka T3 Lite has far too light a butt for most mods, so most cause a problem. Mr Logic has a RWS .243 and he has the same ASE S5 on the end of his..its great and the balance is fine!! So be careful..it's not just about a good mod..its about a good mod on your rifle!!!
-
Sorry, but you asked ... Pretty obvious you are new to this....who saw you coming and sold you a Hornet!
-
Ok ...I'm sensing you are not that happy anyway with this gun....so.... Flippin ek..if you can SEE the pellet dip and hit the floor at 10 yards probably time for a new one! But I would suggest probably the piston seal, the spring would not often drop off to this extent! But a new spring at the same time as well as a good clean and service may well restore to .....wherever it used to be???

The gun will have to be in some sort of slip in public..these all have straps so it should be easy to transport on your back. There is always the potential of being stopped but if you are legal then there is no problem...as regards gun..get whatever you want! Easy!
-
what do you mean by that im not too clued up on the workings of then ..your question is impossible to answer..when did you last use the gun/clean the gun..have you changed to a heavier pellet..how do you know its droping at 10 yards (whatever that is meant to mean) what power is it producing..oh yes..and how long is the piece of string....you are asking a technical question..to have any chance of getting a sensible answer you need to furnish the details!!!

Why do people keep apologising for shooting baby rabbits...Didn't you get the permission because the landowner wanted the rabbits controlling?? The females are breeding themselves 3 months after they are born..a rabbit is a rabbit is a rabbit is vermin.. and pregnant ones are great as you can stop up to 8 with 1 shot!!
-
They are to do with something being screwed up..625-715ft sec out of a Co2...I assume it is a normal beast and not some daft FAC variation...this doesn't happen.. and if putting a bit of oil down the barrel could make it happen then the Co2 world would be buying oil by the barrel!!!
-
Unless you have a VERY specific need for some outrageous 3.5" I agree with SS, 2.75-3", plenty of choice, plenty of stopping power and a LOT cheaper on the whole. Bear in mind cartridges have got a lot more powerful over the years..and of course you will really need to get your shoulder behind these 3.5 as well PS £75 for 25..f**k me...is that right... £3 each... ....... Thank heavens 2.75 5's do most things for me!! and......7.5-8 for clays!

Nothing frozen here, I took 171 off one site in November last year (it was all written up and posted on THL at the time). If I remember correctly there are 92 in this picture! The picture was taken in my back garden as I had to take them all off site, there are several other pictures in the series, some of which show me as well, this picture has been downloaded over 1000 times from this and other sites, I'm surprised someone else hasn't claimed credit for it yet! In case there is any doubt! Picture Copyright Deker 11/07

quote name='ChrisJones' post='556379' date='Jun 14 2008, 06:59 PM']Totally agreed Deker and you're absolutely right but you forget to mention elementary chaos theory which dictates large stockpiles of the previous concentrate. In an effort to use up such stockpiles, or old boy mentality which immediately distrusts new products, batches could be incorrectly mixed. While I accept the dosage would have to be really high, to effect humans, the dosage would be much smaller for dogs and smaller still for ferrets. But the point I was really trying to make is... would you really want to eat an

Chris Any warning about potential poisoning is valid and worth mentioning but... ...Warfarin is now only available as a pre prepared bait under EC regulations from last year, if you were to eat any squirrel already contaminated with warfarin you would have to consume about 30 a day for the anticoagulant to have any effect at all, if you then stopped you would get better. In addition, if, by any chance you did find yourself suffereing from warfarin poisoning, a trip to the GP and a shot of Vitamin K will cure you virtually instantly!

Nope...nothing floating about the Silhouette, bolted firmly into a snug fitting stock! Deker, Do you think it would make much difference if the barrel was floated? young1982 Nope.. it's only available in .22LR, just doesn't thump or bounce. The Silhouette stock/metalwork does not lend itself to floating either...you would have to throw away the design and start again! This gun is designed to a budget as a field tool, it performs this function remarkably well and remarkably accurately already, an excellent value for money tool!
