If it is a .22LR and you are using subs then the occasional clean will surfice...not a fan of bore snakes myself but they do have a place, get a proper cleaning kit!! .......... you may not clean your car, check your tyres, oil, water, etc very often ..but I bet it feels better when you have!!

I fitted a Brooks kit to my .17 CZ American 16" Left Hand carbine, thinest spring and tightest spacer, excellent result, close to a custom trigger as you can get this side of $$$$$. Got mine from USA by post OK, also got the hex (Allen) head screw kit, also a great idea. Good shooting AF Flippen ek..I am 2 behind you on both counts (and I slackened off the trigger spring a bit as well)..those settings would frighten me to death...but I'd love to try it... do you just have to blow on the trigger from a distance to release it???

Its very simple chap...you came on suggesting you had orders for 500-700 rabbits a week...I did some maths and was obviously curious with the numbers that came back...since then you have suggested you know people who kill 2 or 3 times as many...that makes 100,000 a year........ Ok..all those years ago I served my apprenticeship with an air rifle..it tought me a considerable amount about ballistics, stalking, hunting, shot placement, patience and made me work hard for my supper. Amongst my tools now I still have a 12ft lb air rifle!! Just wondered how many of you started this way and worked up or... how you got started!

Always the way...I have 3 cabinets and not one was easy to fit...there is always something that crops up/goes wrong!!

Perhaps another suitable topic for FAQ..this seems to come round quite a lot!! Down to your own requirements/budget but I would simply say stay away from the logan and anything that promises less than a 200 yard beam..personally I would always suggest a dimmer switch as well!! Good value.. Deben Mini/Max Pro ...better quality Lightforce. Lots in between!!!

Just not possible to answer as it could cost a fortune, but bank on an absolute minimum of £50 if you are getting it tuned professionally!!

Thanks for all the responses..seems that most are fairly contented!! Unfortunately my plan of getting one from Mexico (....it's a long story) has fallen apart, as they are not available there except by special order with a lot of paperwork taking up to 8 weeks to arrange..so I will have to look at other options.. Each to their own..if it works for you then that is all that matters...I tend to use 6x on everything from 12ft lb right up to about 200 yards on the centrefires!!

YES...if you are the Incredible Hulk, get a non return valve fitted on the bottle and get a custom built pump!!..only cost a few hundred pounds...think I will stick to a £2.50 refill at the dive shop!!

You need to help me understand this one.... 25,000 - 35,000 rabbits a year (70-100 per DAY!!!) ...you 'avin a larf...what have you been shooting them with up to now??

Victor Easy to say...and comes with life experience, but if you are in the right then stick to your guns and refrain from abuse, simply refer him to the landowner and get on with your lawful business.

Schedule 4 section 2 Prohibited weapons 1 Any smooth bore gun 2 any rifle of less than .240 or less than 1700 ftlb muzzle energy 3 any air gun , air pistol air rifle Ammunition 1 any cartridge for use in a smooth bore gun 2 any bullet other than a soft nosed or hollow nosed Chap Have you looked at Section 7, 1991 Deer Act?? This tells you all about the exceptions and explains why it is legal to use a shotgun!! Always the trouble with the law...you need to read it all not just bits!!
