  1. Taken a few day but some pics showing the HMR Silhouette, and a few differences between the Silhouette HMR and Silhouette .22LR....the HMR is top of each section.....
  2. Coming to this a bit late as I've had to get some help with pictures....... The Rimfire Collection....ALL CZ....the Style is my lads but on my ticket at the moment...... .17HMR Silhouette .22LR Silhouette .22LR Style .22WMR American
  3. I can't help but think that some of you are so stupid you cannot even see how stupid you are. It is threads like this that get the media and politicians reaching for the statute books, when air rifles are banned, or only available on licence look to yourselves!!
  4. This is quite common..it's inevitable if you think about it...ask them to start immediately and tell them you are happy to lose out on a few weeks ticket money....many people get stuffed for a year or two money when this happens, but it saves a lot in the future!!!
  5. Did you find a phone number that worked and if so.......???????? Cheers
  6. I got the new T3 Hunter .243 in August last year, one of the first of the shorter, threaded barrels, it has a P8 Compact on the end...balance is good, no problems at all...MUCH better than the T3 Lite!!!
  7. For stripability you cannot beat the Wildcat Predator range. Price is reasonable in an area of outrageously high margins, but there are without doubt better mods for sound reduction, although I find the Predators acceptable! Take it any time over the T8, and remember the Compact Predator 8, just as good as the full length up to .243 but smaller and lighter!!
  8. IF your authority has made a mistake then tell them and ask them to issue a new FAC....you do not have to pay for their mistakes. If they have refused the mods that is a different matter.....and the letter you get with the FAC usually tells you to check it and then sign it...FOR GOOD REASON, as you now know!!!!
  9. acording to my dictionary vermin is anything that is endangerous to crops or game The Problem is, and the whole point is, that whilst every Police region is happy to list Vermin on a .22LR, there are many Police regions that positively refuse to allow Fox on a .22LR. AMBIGUITY abounds...there is NO definition that has been tested..this debate rages and will continue until someone is prosecuted or simply has the balls to challenge the definitions and a president is set!!! Any takers?? F*** knows how we got here selling a SAK...I know.....Codweld sticking his nose in!
  10. Its your eyes My eyes too...I can see what he means, but hadn't noticed it until mentioned...but then my eyes are not what they used to be!!!
  11. Coldweed Just what is your agenda?? I am trying to sell a moderator here, I do not need all this grief from someone who obviously does not know the appropriate legal position on this sale, so unless you want to buy it kindly clear off and stop causing unnecessary, pointless grief on a subject you have demonstrated your ignorance of!
  12. Don't know who that was aimed at, just hope it wasn'r me Deker, whats you view on my last post?? I'm sure I recall my local gunny telling me that even if I had a mod allowed on the ticket but hadn't got it listed as in my possession, if I was caught using it I would be in breach of the regs. He stated he could sell me one on or off the ticket. Yep, thats the picture, you can have as many as you like in your possession (what is commonly referred to as Air Rifle Mods), but you must have the slot and then advise your authority when you intend to put one on your FAC rifle.
  13. It's a SAK..full specification on Jackson Rifles website! Yep, its calibre specific...nothing bigger than .22!
  14. Before you toss the coin, have you asked Neil why he is selling his own .204?? Â
  15. If you can get the deer condition and you have deer shooting then why not....hang on to the .223 as well if at all possible!!
  16. Steady on smasher...lots to think about here... .223..lots of good ones about, in the reasonable price/quality and shoots straight range Tikka, CZ or Remington.  LOADS of ammo choice and much of it cheaper than .243.With the right setup and ammo you can deal with foxes at 400 yards with these tools...although very few people need to!  Down side is you are limited on the deer front! .243 is very capable on the fox...but lets get real in suggesting not everyone shoots foxes at 400 yards in the middle of massive estates...lots of fox are dealt with at 50-100 yards on small estates..
  17. F*** m*...that looks a bigun...you sure that's not your escaped neighbours pet
  18. Your ignorance of the law is appaling...I mentioned centrefire to drill the message home this was totally legal! And learn to read yourself... with regard the smack in the face their was a big IF, but I'll happily oblige if you insist! Kindly BUTT out and leave the important stuff to those who know. I will hapilly address any further legal points with anyone who wishes clarification!
  19. i am awear of the fact that all moderators are NOT PROOFED from the maker and can only be proofed at birmingham or london proof house after fittingthe fact its not sold for a centrefire is neather here or there if it is used on a firearm IT MUST BE REGISTEREDwith writen proof of transfer    from SELLER TO PURCHASER  no morals involved THATS THE LAW The centrefire business is a bit important ...any mod specifically designed for a centrefire MUST go on your FAC...even if you want it for your air rifle...you can't buy it without FAC...no need to be proofed though!! The SAK is NOT de
  20. Not to get too excited but glad someone else has picked up on this...it may just be a figure of speech but so many people "upgrade" or get a "better" gun, meaning a more powerful one......I run a lot of tools from 12ft lb air rifles through a collection of rimfires, centrefires and shotguns..they are tools, the .308 is not better than my air rifle...it is different!!!
  21. I AM NOT BREAKING ANY LAW OR SITE RULES!! Once again you demonstrate your ignorance....you have mentioned IF a lot...well IF I smacked you in the face, then perhaps I would be breaking the law...forget IF and stick to the FACTS!!! I am selling a NON proof Moderator, NOT designed for a centrefire in a PRIVATE Sale! If the purchaser wants to put it on a .308, mix cement with it or beat their neighbour over the head with it, he is welcome, it is no concern of mine and I do not want to know his intentions.........I have no legal or moral requirement to advise the purchaser of the conte
  22. Chill out chap.... It is an unproofed mod, not designed for a centrefire...I can sell it totally legally to your Granny (or newborn baby) and send it to her in the post!! NO FAC required!!
  23. They are OK on WMR, but I think Hornet is pushing your luck...have a word with Jackson Rifles, they are the UK distributors and pretty good technically!
  24. Hi Everyone, Im not trying to buck the system...this appears in the FOR SALE section, but seems to be getting lost with all the dog stuff...... SILVER SAK Sound Moderator for sale, 1/2inch UNF thread, NOT proofed, so available to anyone through the post...brand new, unmarked and never had a shot through it. It's a long story.....!!! £30 delivered anywhere in UK Mainland. PS May I suggest to Ian a split in the For Sale Section so its easier to check items, firearms, accessories, dogs..whatever ...perhaps even a Sub Section in here!!
  25. Looks like it to me..extra checkering (well ..rough bits anyway) on the forestock and palm grip...and that magazine says HMR/WMR! EDIT..there are one or two more on Guntrader now a bit cheaper..especially that dealer in Ayreshire who is always cheap.....interestingly the Wiltshire Shooting Centre £320 Silhouette shows a picture of a "Style"
