ME! http://www.djsproducts.com/ I'm a distributor for these, tell me which one you want and I'll confirm availability and best price!! I can beat all advertised prices!!
-
The whole tone of this says "sport" shooter...so go as often as you want...with vermin control you hit hard and do your best to bring numbers down to manageable levels asap!!

My .22lr zero has been rock solid for at least 2 years, about my only gun I could just grab, go out and know it would do the job 100%...Monday I'm climbing up the bank of a stream, slip in the mud and use the moderator as a dirt scoop!!! Take the mod off and find a thin twig to push the dirt out with, only to break the slightly bent twig inside the mod...**** me..this is not going well...anyway ..sorted, or so I thought, as the next, and last bunny of the night went down at about 60 yards. Real good clean when I got home and found it was off when next out, I'm sure the mod is fine and

Chill out....that's more than a little harsh, I consider there to be vaild points in that post and many of yours..to be honest I could also say that 35 years plus shooting experience on my part qualifies me FAR better than any daft piece of paper acquired after a few days of study!!!

What about the lambs????!!!
-
It's that time of year again, horses, cows, sheep..... and Charlie wants his share, saw a (very) newborn calf on Sunday when out with my lad, not well, don't expect to see it next time!!! I always love to pick off the fox amongst the sheep, they really stand out under the lamp, a great sense of achievement and job well done...ATB!!
-
That looks a proper job...any chance you can bring it along on 29th so I can have a closer look, I'm sure my lad will be impressed to!!
-
You could have just dropped in that brilliant Hawke Varmint II 4-16x44 ...WITH Sunshade...that I just happen to have available at the moment....
-
Careful...that could be viewed in 2 ways!!!!
-
I believe you will find the "Fox" scopes are made by Leapers, they make loads of scopes for loads of people and will put anyones name on them! Having said that I also suggest they offer decent value for money too!

I rarely have these conversations with my man but emailed him back last night along the lines of my thread here.....his response... "They all vary but this had the usual half inch, two inch entry/exit wounds but the round also hit the top of the leg (front shoulder) almost taking the foreleg right off so who knows where the bullet bits go!" Please don't all shout...I know it was not my best shot ever, an inch or two out! As a matter of interest this one jumped in the air like it had been electrocuted before hitting the deck like a sack of spuds....(just short of 200 yards)!

Strange situations abound, I am a Deer Mentor, I have an Open FAC with all deer, but have no qualifications on deer, except lifes experience.....apparently this qualifies me in the eyes of the LAW to teach and train and supervise any oik in the art of stalking, gralloching, safety, hygiene, etc etc but leaves me out in the cold when it comes to gaining certain deer contracts..... Seems more than a little daft!!!
-
What caliber "Deker" me old lad? .243 90g Softpoint.
-
hey mate what do you mean fox on a rimmy ticket dont understand We have been here before and the interpretation of the law is a mess...in simple terms FOX is a condition not normally under vermin, a condition on it's own...FOX...many regions will NOT allow this on a rimfire, others will, then again others "may" consider fox vermin as well!! Not at all confusing is it!!

Hawke Varmint II 4-16x44 +++ sunshade!!! Bought this as temporary about 4 weeks ago, I already have the 3-12x44 version on my .22LR, great scopes! http://www.deben.com/optics/riflescopes/varmint_2.php You may have seen the picture of the scope on my HMR and what it can do...I'll try and get the pictures up again later. Obviously still have box etc, list price of the above is £133.90 plus delivery, this package is all but brand new and I will ship anywhere in mainland UK for £85, saving nearly £50 on list and more with free delivery. Feel free to ask any questions!!

Hawke VarmintII 4-16x44...this seems to fit the bill pretty close and saves you a load of money.... Just got home to find this from my Game Dealer.... "Deer now hanging in cold cabinet. Front end damage - one shoulder a write-off, the other not too bad but also quite a lot of neck damage - maybe a fragmented round. Rest of carcase looks good" Never ceases to amaze me how the SAME round can sometimes pass clean through and you struggle to find the holes and other times it destroys everything...just depends quite what it hits!!!
-
Got to admit I struggle to take the 10-22 seriously, but they can be fun (if you can make them work ) but you won't go far wrong with a CZ, I have the Silhouette HMR, probably the first in the uk, and whilst I am not the biggest fan of the HMR this is good!! MY HMR and what it did at 100 yards!!
-
Talk to this lot... fcsa.co.uk 50cal shooters association, its about the only chance you have of getting a .5 in the uk, and it will be for target work only, this tool is not suitable for ANY pest/vermin control work! Best of luck, hope you have an undestanding Bank manager!

First off he is very fortunate....£1500 buys you a very acceptable gun! I assume an over and under is required! Right then, a Sporter or Game/Field gun is required from details given! Beretta offer several in this price area (and cheaper if you want a Semi auto), but so do many others, 28 or 30 inch barrels and a multi choke would be my suggestion, frankly you are spoilt for choice!!! Best gun....NO NO NO...who will decide that??? You need the best gun for him, and there are plenty up to this price! Go to a decent RFD, not a toy shop, and don't buy the first thing you see,
