  1. I think you will need to be of a certain age!!!!!
  2. FX seems to be getting some support, assorted varieties! I have to say I'm a bit nervous just the same, at the moment I can't find anyone (South of Leicester) to fix my pretty basic Falcon, so if anything goes wrong with a FX what then??
  3. I really can't believe it is such hard work to get some help, I can't even find a professional to repair the gun south of Leicester at the moment! Looks like there is an opening for a decent gunsmith in the central south of England.
  4. From their website.............. Each range has over 140 varied targets at ranges from 10 to 200 yards. Does seem a long way for sub 12, but is that the case, I suspect it is, but I didn't see anything saying no FAC on their website (I may well have missed it)
  5. I don't have a local gun shop anymore, closest (other than Bisley) is about 25 miles, and they do most work in house, but don't want to know about the Falcon as...you cant get the parts anymore!!!
  6. Thanks again, its getting a bit far but I'll give him a call tomorrow anyway!
  7. Dorset would be the closest so far, I'm in Berkshire! If you have some details it would be much appreciated. Cheers
  8. Cheers, I have their number, they are closed today, I'll call tomorrow!
  9. Gorilla wipes work well for a quick clean up, shoes and clothes, but I think that may need a bit more work!
  10. Just called them anyway, unfortunately I have a Falcon FN19 and they don't work on them!!!

    Bye bye Betty

She did a pretty good job from what I remember!
  12. Thanks, but a bit far, why are they all midlands/up north?
  13. FFS ....Hope you have some decent washing powder, we all get a bit mucky sometimes, but it looks like you have been through some ancient blood letting ritual!!!
  14. Agreed, it would appear, (and for a long time), many remoaners are actually going out of their way to hinder Brexit rather than making any attempt to make it work.......that is certainly what 2 people I know well are doing, still bellyaching about it, and still suggesting anyone who voted to leave is an ignorant idiot at any opportunity!!!
  15. Can anyone suggest a red hot PCP Repairer, somewhere in the central/southern part of England please? The North seems full of them but the South devoid. Thanks!
  16. Third try, is this clear now???? How can you say you don't believe in tighter regulations and then directly proceed to suggest tighter regulations???? Whereas I don't believe in tighter regulations, I do believe the FEO should perhaps ask applicants about whether they'd take a shot in certain cases (maybe an online test) - please tell us why you would take this shot (multiple scenarios with some a non shot scenario, you've come to a wall / style / gate and need to get to the other side, what do you do?, You see someone in the field you are shooting in what do you do?, You have finished s
  17. Am I missing something here? I don't understand how any refugee should get priority over the many thousands of British people on every Council waiting list in the Country?
  18. So, which part of, if you don't pass the test you don't get a FAC, isn't tighter regulations????
  19. So, which part of, if you don't pass the test you don't get a FAC, isn't tighter regulations????
  20. Are collapsible stocks like mine illegal? Or just folding ? We have minimum barrel lengths and minimum overall lengths here, to stop a rifle being a pistol (well, the governments definition of a pistol). In principle, collapsible/adjustable stocks are fine, just so long as they don't make the rifle into a pistol!!!!!!!!
  21. 100%, but unfortunately we have had this debate many times. Even Lord Cullens report after Dunblane said he considered banning pistols would serve no useful purpose, but the Government cowered to the Red Tops pressure and did, simply to make the uneducated Public think they were doing something!!!
  22. ???? They read it when you posted it last week on the 18th!!
  23. We have a Home Office Guide for what calibre/ammo is suitable for what quarry. Just like you, the last didn't include fox for the HMR as it was so new here, so it was suggested it wasn't suitable! The latest version is happy enough with fox, but old ideas still persist in some areas! Cartridges Muzzle energy (ft lb) Vermin & ground game and other small quarry(3) Fox and other medium quarry(4) Deer and other large quarry(5) Dangerous Game(6) .177-.25 Air Rifles (FAC)(1) .22 RF
