  1. Agreed, it would appear, (and for a long time), many remoaners are actually going out of their way to hinder Brexit rather than making any attempt to make it work.......that is certainly what 2 people I know well are doing, still bellyaching about it, and still suggesting anyone who voted to leave is an ignorant idiot at any opportunity!!!
  2. Can anyone suggest a red hot PCP Repairer, somewhere in the central/southern part of England please? The North seems full of them but the South devoid. Thanks!
  3. Third try, is this clear now???? How can you say you don't believe in tighter regulations and then directly proceed to suggest tighter regulations???? Whereas I don't believe in tighter regulations, I do believe the FEO should perhaps ask applicants about whether they'd take a shot in certain cases (maybe an online test) - please tell us why you would take this shot (multiple scenarios with some a non shot scenario, you've come to a wall / style / gate and need to get to the other side, what do you do?, You see someone in the field you are shooting in what do you do?, You have finished s
  4. Am I missing something here? I don't understand how any refugee should get priority over the many thousands of British people on every Council waiting list in the Country?
  5. So, which part of, if you don't pass the test you don't get a FAC, isn't tighter regulations????

  7. Are collapsible stocks like mine illegal? Or just folding ? We have minimum barrel lengths and minimum overall lengths here, to stop a rifle being a pistol (well, the governments definition of a pistol). In principle, collapsible/adjustable stocks are fine, just so long as they don't make the rifle into a pistol!!!!!!!!
  8. 100%, but unfortunately we have had this debate many times. Even Lord Cullens report after Dunblane said he considered banning pistols would serve no useful purpose, but the Government cowered to the Red Tops pressure and did, simply to make the uneducated Public think they were doing something!!!
  9. ???? They read it when you posted it last week on the 18th!!
  10. We have a Home Office Guide for what calibre/ammo is suitable for what quarry. Just like you, the last didn't include fox for the HMR as it was so new here, so it was suggested it wasn't suitable! The latest version is happy enough with fox, but old ideas still persist in some areas! 11. I have some issues with my Falcon and looking to possibly replace, but one BIG issue is the indexing problem. Have any of you tried these, apparently they do away completely with the OEM Falcon indexing system and are completely independent. I don't quite follow how, but if they work that is a big problem solved with mine! Self Indexing Nylon Magazine for Multi Shot Falcon and RWS Air Rifles – SMWEngineering
  12. Its a matter of using the HMR within its capabilities, as it is with any gun, and granting someone a bigger calibre because they can't shoot straight is bonkers!!!
  13. Perhaps they do, can't say I've ever seen one, but my Rapid is gone. It was a good old friend (actually, not as old as my Falcon) but its time to move on...for me!
  14. There is Nothing marginal about a HMR for fox if it is used properly and within its limitations. 6 shots, 6 fox! You can say exactly what you said above about CF, using it past yours and the guns limitations will result in issues! Giving someone a bigger calibre because they are incompetent is not the answer!
  15. Well, that could be an issue, so many of the new air rifles have that military look. I don't need, or want that at all, but I do need accuracy and reliability, but I certainly don't want to break the bank. I'm thinking, that maybe it was a mistake to sell my Rapid, even though it was built like a tank (and weighed about as much as well)!
  16. Good luck, hope it works!
  17. So did I up to about 8 months back, I had the 2 x FAC air but sold the Rapid. Gone from 2 to none. Great and well, built but looking for newer technology and lighter than a rapid now. My Falcon, with the Skeleton stock, was very light but very accurate, nothing like the build quality of the Rapid, but was my go to, so the Rapid went!
  18. Totally agree, it has limitations, but the HMR is an excellent fox round used sensibly. A few years back the HMR was slagged off by many as useless/underpowered for fox, mainly by those with little or no experience or who couldn't shoot straight! But not so much anymore. Of course it can't do everything a CF can do, but it is very effective in its field of operation. I use the HMR a LOT for domestics, and many other situations where a CF is ridiculous overkill!
  19. Not the animal stuff (just what is that by the way), but I tried some of the CBD stuff a couple of years back, you can get assorted sweets, gums, oils, whatever! Frankly it did nothing for me, tasted horrible and was silly money!
  20. Why is it that a small section of society (who get a disproportionate amount of publicity) judge others and consistently get them cancelled for telling the truth. The UK has gone down the pan and it needs to stop!!
  21. Every single council in the UK has a housing waiting list, and we have countless people living on the streets. I've said it all along, so how come ILLEGALS get 5 star treatment when they arrive and then still often have the cheek to complain!!!!
  22. I'm trying as many places as I can (that I haven't been banned from) to get as much info as possible. Bonkers really, it was only 6-8months back I got rid of my FAC Theoben, had the 2 then, now I have none, and now I'm stuck!
  23. Pretty much sums it up for me, I have assorted torches, lamping kits and NV. The NV has the ability to link to recording but never taken that step.
