    The Rapid revolutionized almost everything airgun, even though it was far from being the first PCP. It just seem to hit the mark with the public and professionals alike!

    I still run up against this issue. There must be some historical bad experiences, with Tamper Proof and Species Specific bait boxes, there simply isn't an issue, and baits work 24/7 when shooting etc is only briefly time dependant!

    I've done, and got, several cemetery jobs, they are straight forward compared to public parks! I think the OP is likely to incur issues with the job he is talking about! If he can make it work then great, but it is likely to be difficult whatever!!!

    RESEARCH!!!! Sites like this (and there are many others--Pest Control sites worth a look) all add to that, but there is a lot to learn about the countryside and the Law. I've been doing this a very long time, and professionally, and I'm still learning!

    Mine certainly did, came with the gun! Not sure if that was throughout their entire range!

    Military look indeed, but that is largely a consequence of design/technology advances, commonly led by the military. Over the years a lot of guns have had a military look if you stop and think about it. The "Compact" design is military led, and copied now by civilian guns, wood is on the way out, metal and plastics are easier to produce, an awful lot of guns are heading in this direction. Hope it performs well!

    Depends where you are actually going. Areas of Oxfordshire I work have plenty of Roe, Muntjac and Fallow. Red and Sika are also to be found in some parts. I hear talk of a few CWD, not seen any myself but I suspect there are some!

    Whatever you do, in what is apparently a public park, you are going to get grief. I did a major squirrel job in a public park some years ago, and the wardens closed off and patrolled the areas I was working in, it was still a pain and I'd never do it again. I'll be interested to hear the outcome of all this!!!!!! I'd walk away. Good luck !

    Well, boxes certainly have their uses and all the modern ones funnel the rat to the kill zone and are very effective, you don't need fenns, normal traps are very effective. To be honest I don't find it economical, either financially or time wise to make boxes these days.     From £195* range use.... I can get you Bisley, 10 shoots a year, with distances from 100-1000 yards, NRA Affiliation, Club house use, armoury use, etc etc ALL for a Total of £100!!!!

    ??? he apparently did enough wrong to get a caution!!!! Like I said, the article didn't give anywhere near enough info, for all we know he got a caution for telling the police to f**k off!!

    I've caught them in all sorts over the years, sometimes they walk straight in (not Often), other times it's taken ages. I've found the taller and longer traps are probably best, and get a strong one, they will rip it apart if not!
